THE TRUCK RUMBLED UNDERNEATH HER FEET. Ella stared out the windshield with Daryl staring out it as well beside her while Glenn drove the truck to the area they left Merle, with Rick sitting passenger and T-Dog sat behind Daryl and Ella.

Everyone within the truck were tense. They didn't know what was going to happen when they went to go get Merle, all they knew was that it was extremely risky to do so with an entire herd as ginormous as the city the herd was roaming within.

Ella shifted her gaze to the gun Andrea handed her before she left. Earlier Andrea told her she would only let Ella use it because Andrea thought of the Walsh girl as another sister. In that same moment a couple hours ago, Ella simply smiled at her before telling the Harrison girls she was going to be fine.

Once the truck started to slow down, Daryl spoke up. "He better be okay."

"It's my only word on the matter," T-Dog spoke up. "I told you the geeks can't get at him. The only thing that's gonna get through that door is us."

Suddenly the truck halted. Ella looked up to look out the windshield to see they were finally in Atlanta; the city where she was born years ago when her mother was alive and her father was happier than what he was (he was happy but not as happy as he used to be), she missed life before this apocalypse.

And no one knew this but when she was seventeen years old, she wished for the end of the world because she hated school that much and so now she guessed her wish truly did come true but not without a price.

Now, she wished she never wished for that wish.

"We walk from here." Glenn said as he hopped out the truck and slammed the door behind him.

Daryl pulled the chain to open the back of the truck. Ella and T-Dog helped him push the door open before the three jumped out. Daryl pulled the chain and immediately the back door of the truck shut.

With that, the small group walked along a railrod track for about ten minutes before they came upon a gate that seemed to already have been cut open by someone else.

Rick was the first one to slip through, then Glenn and T-Dog. Daryl motioned for her to go first, his lips pressed into a straight line. Ella narrowed her eyes at him before she slipped through the hole in the gate.

"Merle first or guns?" Rick questioned them once Daryl got past the gate.

Ella shrugged and glanced to Glenn who also didn't know. They both looked back at Rick as they both contemplated which route was best to take first.
