"Fix your posture" Minho's Mom nagged for the hundredth time that day. They had guests over, very important guests, but Minho could care less. He hated these parties, but nevertheless, he stood up straight and fixed his suit jacket.

People he didn't know greeted him with big smiles on their faces, which he always had to return with a polite bow. Oh how he hated this, as soon as they walked away his fake smile dropped and instead he frowned. "Smile Minho. You're going to get in trouble" his friend Woojin whispered quietly when he noticed the other boy frowning.

Woojin was just like them. He didn't care to experience the world. He had everything he needed right in his little bubble of a perfect world, his parents built for him. He didn't share the same views as Minho, and when the younger told him about his dreams to experience something different, he was judged.

Woojin had lectured him for hours upon hours about how he should stop living in the clouds, and how the life he had now was more than perfect, but it didn't kill the younger's hopes and dreams. Seungmin sighed loudly as he sat down next to the other two boys "Jeongin won't leave me alone" he whined and as if on cue Jeongin walked up to them, with the sweetest smile on his face.

"Seungminnie you left me alone" Jeongin pouted as he took the empty seat next to Minho. Jeongin was new to their group. He had just moved to Seoul from Busan a few months ago and he was absolutely obsessed with Seungmin. The rules were different in Busan than Seoul and Jeongin's parents were completely okay with his sexuality. They didn't think it affected them as people or as a family.

So the younger boy was very open about his attraction to Seungmin, which terrified the shit out of the other three. If any of them showed any sort of signs of them being attracted to the same sex or to anyone who was "lesser" than them, they'd be done for. Minho's parents especially didn't mess around when it came to their son's love life.

Jeongin got to experience freedom back in Busan, it didn't matter how rich he was. He got to go out and do whatever he wanted with whoever he wanted. He always told Minho stories of his late night adventures with some of his friends. It always blew the older's mind.

Minho's parents basically kept him locked up, so he wouldn't form any sort of intimate relationship with anyone. If Minho was going to date or be married it would be his parents choice not his. That's why he hated this life. Nothing was his decision, his parents controlled and picked everything the boy did and he just wanted freedom. His friendships with Woojin, Seungmin, and Jeongin were monitored closely to make sure nothing bad was going on between them. It was torture.

He wanted to experience a life where he got to do whatever his heart pleased. Maybe get into trouble, fall in love, experience what it's like to live life on the edge, not in some high class mansion where he can't even pick what he wants for breakfast. He craved freedom and he'd do anything to get it at this point.
