♧Chapter 32: That smile♧

Lol...hehe...hello again...I resurect from the dead just to update a new chapter...sorry that it took so long...anyways skipping any further useless excuses, let's dive right into it.

Gaara POV:

I walked through the school halls very nervous (on the inside, of course)...my face was as stone-cold as always. For some reasons, I was very self-aware and I was so lost in thought that I didn't even hear a certain very clumsy and loud blonde calling out my name. The next thing I know somebody throws an arm around my shoulder and screams my name, almost making me lose my hearing.

"GAAARA" Naruto exclaimed. Why is he causing such a fuss? Oh wait he is Naruto...he doesn't need an actual reason. But to be honest I missed this goof ball and his emo duck-butt boyfriend. They are my only true friends after all.
"EARTH TO GAARA? HELLLO? YOU THERE? ARE YOU OKAY? CAN YOU HEAR-" I cut him off right then and there. I let out a sight then smiled
"Yell in my ear one more time and I am pretty sure that I will have to return to the hospital."Sasuke walked shortly after to us and greeted me with a nod which I returned. Naruto rubbed the back of his neck embarrassed.
"Sorry, mate. I'm just glad to see you, dattebayo."
"I like your Good-bye To Gravity shirt " pointed Sasuke out of nowhere
"Oh thanks. I went to one of their concerts. They're really cool"

Time skip to lunch

3rd Person POV:

While the younger Uchiha was making his way to the cafeteria with his blonde and the red haired guy, the older Uchiha was sighting with annoyance. He's been trying for weeks now to find any proof that would lead to Sakura or Kiba. He needed to. He wanted to. He promised Naruto and it was his job as a cop. Deidera came up to him with two cups of coffee and some donuts.
"I can't believe that the great Itachi Uchiha has trouble with solving a case." Deidera said teasingly. Itachi's expression soften at the sight of his lover.
"Worst part is that they are just a bunch of kids. It makes me so frustrated...I can't let them get away with it.This isn't even bullying anymore...it has already surpassed that stage."
Deidera gives Itachi a kiss on the lips and then continues
"Don't worry, I'm sure that sooner or later the truth will come around..."
Itachi sighted again then started reading some files on a missing person's case.

Back to the three teenagers who have currently taken a sit at a table in the cafeteria. Soon after Shikamaru, Kankuro, Temari and Choji joined them.

Sasuke POV:

Weird...today Kiba didn't show up at school, I hope that the bastard's been hit by a fucking truck or something. Sakura on the other hand is extremly busy with some school play, apparently so busy that she even let me have my peace. As for Ino, she has been acting weird...she also stopped stalking me and she doesn't hang out with Sakura that much anymore. Ever since what happened with Naruto, I have been paying extra attention to this three especially. I let out a sight and turned my attention back on my usturatonkachi who was stuffing his mouth full with noodles and spring rolls. Seeing him so carefree, innocent and happy kind of makes me less pissed off. He stops eating and looks at me with a confused look. I lost myself for a few seconds in his sky blue eyes...so pretty and peaceful.

"Is something wrong, Sasuke? Are you not hungry ?"
"Idiot...don't talk with your mouth full." A noodle was hanging on his jaw and he was dirty in the corner of his mouth. I debated whether to embarrass him by doing that cliché kinda cool looking thing where I kiss him and eat the noodle, but I decided against it since I am not sure if in reality it is that cool...it' s kinda gross so I just picked up a napkin and whiped his mouth clean. He gulped down his food before speaking this time.
"Thanks, teme. I didn't notice it. Sorry, dattebayo."
"Hn."
"But are you really okay?" He asked this time with concern and worry in his voice. Naruto put his head on me. He is acting like a cat...I swear if I'll feel a tail being wrapped around my waist I wouldn't be surprised that it is his...he is cute and caring.
"Yeah, don't worry I was just thinking. I'm not that hungry you can have my food, too, if you want."
He stood up straight and looked at me dead serious. A smirk soon appeared on his face. Did I say cat? Lemme take that back...he is a fox, alright. He leaned towards me and whispered into my ear :
"If you don't eat something right now...I'll show Gaara and Shikamaru how cute you are when you're wearing your Pikkachu overall pajamas." In my defence it's comfy and Naruto bought it for me. I love Pikkachu...He is a cool dude. I gave Naruto one disgusted look and the famouse Sasuke Uchiha stare then picked up my chopsticks and started eating something. I haven't even realized how hungry I was up until now. I just hope that we're fine for now...We've been through enough so far.

Naruto POV:

Sasuke is acting a little bit weird. He is always so protective even if he won't admit or notice it. He has every right since I am such a clumsy idiot, but I don't want him to always worry about my well-being and forget about himself. Althought I have to admit that this side of him is so cute. As we walked back to class for our last period he smoothly reached for my hand and interwined it with his. I blushed a little. He is being so clingy today, it's so cute it's almost overwhealming me. Don't get me wrong...I am not trying to say that he is a cold jerk...it is just that usually I am the one looking for affection and body contact like hugs. I love hugs and cuddles. I can't wait to get home so we can cuddle. Maybe that will cheer him up...I flashed a big smile at him and he smiled back. For some it might be little and unnoticeble, but for me that means a lot. Looks like I am worring for nothing.

So...our last period was biology. It was kinda boring, but the teacher was nice enough to let us go 10 minutes earlier.
"Sasuke go ahead . I really need to pee and then go talk with Kurenai sensei about something really fast." he gave me an unapproving look.
"Or you can wait for me outside?"
He still looked at me weirdly, but I could spot fear and worry in his eyes.
"I promise that I will be quick. I'll be okay...just trust me. Plus Kiba didn't even come to school."
"I trust you, but I don't trust the people around you..." he finally spoke.
"Pretty please...I mean come on you can't watch me even while peeing. Our relationship will take a toxic turn."
"Fine...but if you take more than 20 min I'll come looking for you."
"Yes, sir." That look again...he still blames himself so much for everything and you can see the fear in his eyes clearly...I should be more understanding. He has a point...I'll just hurry and be done in 10 mins. i don't want him to wait for me for too long..."

I quickly washed my hands and made my way towards the teacher's office...I started to run, but then I stopped dead in my tracks.
"You...what do you want?" I asked the guy who popped up in front of me. He smiled his signature fucked up smile.
"How are you doing, buddy?" Sai asked. I felt in danger so just as I was about to turn around and run to Sasuke, somebody hit me over the head from behind. 'Fuck...no not again...please. I can't do this to Sasuke again...Sasuke...I am sorry' I thought before falling unconcious.

Hehe...cliffhanger. I can't wait to finally write down the next chapters. I finally have a solid script and my author's block is gone. Merry Christmas and sorry for not writting a Christmas special, but it just wouldn't make sense right now.
