JAXON

A few months later...

"Did my ass get bigger or is it just me?" Kimora asked as she posed in front of the changing room mirror.

"It's the vitamin D," Kimora hit my arm and I couldn't help but, start to laugh. She rolled her eyes before shifting in the dress she was trying on. We decided to go out and pick our graduation outfits for tomorrow. It was going to be a busy day and I wanted to stay inside but, Kimora insisted we get new clothes and so we went.

A pout formed on her lips. "It's getting harder to fit into things and I feel fat."

I raised an eyebrow at her, leaning back in the bench to look at her. She did gain a little weight but, it wasn't too much to worry about. "Maybe you're getting the wrong size."

She snorted. "Jaxon, why would I purposely put on the wrong size?"

"I don't know. Ask yourself."

She hit me again and I rubbed the stinging pain in my arm. "Ow. Okay, you're hurting me, woman."

"I'm being serious, Jaxon. I wanted to go shopping because all of my clothes feel tight. I've been working out for the past few weeks and nothing's changed. And I-"

"Shhh..." I wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her down onto my lap. "You're worried about nothing, baby. You're beautiful and even if you gained a lot, I'd still love you all of you the same and you'd still look beautiful."

She took a deep breath. "Y-Yeah... right. I'm going to go find another dress. I'll be back." With that, she left the changing room. I could tell she was still doubtful but, I'm sure she'll regain her confidence back. It's Kimora we're speaking about here.

My phone rang and I picked it up, seeing it was Tyler. "Yellow?"

"Hey, what are you up to?" A nervous pitch was in his voice.

"Just at the mall with Kimora." I paused. "Why do you sound like something is wrong?"

Tyler sighed. "It's Adam. I heard he's back from wherever the hell he came from."

I clenched my jeans. "Shit. You've gotta be kidding me. Just when everything was going great." I rubbed my head in frustration. "How the hell am I going to tell Kimora this?"

"Tell me what?"

I turned my head to Kimora as she slowly shut the door behind her. She had an innocent look of confusion on her face. God, she was so cute.

I quickly thought of a lie. "That Tyler and Audrey can't have the graduation party at their place."

She frowned. "Really? Then where is it going to happen?"
