I took a seat on the metal bleachers, bringing my feet up to sit criss-cross. My choir teacher was saying something to us, but I wasn't really listening. I just tuned in at random times. 

"Who here are football players?" He asked the students of her choir class. Three stood up. I knew Michael and Calum from gym; they kept me from getting hit with dodgeballs, footballs, basketballs, etc. 

The other one was the hot guy I kept running into. He was quite good looking; blonde hair, blue eyes, and the black ring on his lip looked great on him.

"Alright. Michael, Calum, Luke. Got it. You guys better do good because we're cheering for you. What time does the coach want you down there?" He asked.

"10 minutes before the game starts. Which is awhile, since we got here 30 minutes early." Calum answered. The paper the choir teacher handed out had the wrong time on it. The football players really should've told him he had it wrong. I don't want be here at all, let alone thirty extra minutes.

"Sorry about that, kiddos. At least it's nice out." He said. Nice? Everyone is sweating. So nice.

"Why are you wearing a jacket?" The blonde, Luke, asked.

"Does it matter?" I asked, sounding annoyed. I'm not really annoyed, but he'll probably leave quicker if I act like I am.

"I guess not. What's your shirt mean?" He asked. I was wearing a white shirt that had NeverShoutNever written across it in black letters.

"It's a band." I said, pulling the sleeves of my jacket down over my hands. I got my phone out and plugged in my earbuds. Luke didn't leave, so I just offered him one, which he accepted. I opened the Tumblr app, hiding my screen so that he didn't see it. 

insomniashton: hot guy is listening to music with me. sweet baby jesus. 

At the same time I sent that, Luke's phone went off with a notification. Weird. Oh, well.

luke_is_a_penguin: same this guy is playing blink nfieobvnre 

I looked at my phone, confused. I could hear the music playing loudly in my ear. It wasn't the volume that shocked me, it was the song.

insomniashton: where are you right now?

luke_is_a_penguin: what? why?

insomniashton: just. where are you?

luke_is_a_penguin: sitting on bleachers at a football game

insomniashton: describe the boy next to you?

luke_is_a_penguin: you don't think...

insomniashton: i do.

luke_is_a_penguin: i'm gonna scream your name tell me if you here it

insomniashton: don't scream it just say it

luke_is_a_penguin: k i'm gonna scream it 

I was about to type a response, but was cut off by someone screaming.

Screaming my name. 

I didn't know if I should text Luke back and tell him I heard him. What if he sees me and decides he doesn't want to talk to me anymore? What if he thinks I'm ugly? Knowing what he looks like, I can tell he's way out of my league. 

insomniashton: did you do it yet?

luke_is_a_penguin: yes ): so you didn't hear it?

insomniashton: nope

luke_is_a_penguin: dammit. i was hoping i found you.

insomniashton: technically i would've found you since i thought of it first

luke_is_a_penguin: yeah sure whatever

insomniashton: bitch

luke_is_a_penguin: gtg football game is starting

insomniashton: k do good ily

luke_is_a_penguin: ily2 ttyl 

I decided not to tell Luke just yet. I'll just be keeping an extra eye out on him for awhile. At least I know which player I'm going to have my eyes on the whole game.

luke_is_a_penguin: thank you. the cute guy who listened to blink-182 with me cheered very loudly for me

insomniashton: you can go to bed in a second lemme give a band first

insomniashton: i won't have wifi tomorrow bc i'm going to my grandparent's house.

I got a link to Big City Dreams by NeverShoutNever. Luke really needs to step up his music taste if he ever wants to date me. 

luke_is_a_penguin: okay well now i have to spend iTunes money to buy songs by this band thanks

insomniashton: you need to listen to more bands man this is just too easy

luke_is_a_penguin: shut up. not gonna lie singer is pretty hot

insomniashton: i know like honestly just get in my bed

luke_is_a_penguin: same
