I stood stunned for a moment, still in a daze, wondering if it was real. But then without thinking much, I started moving my lips against his, simply because I loved the feel of him so close to me. His lips moved against mine in a beautiful rhythm, our tongues delving into each others mouth, wanting to taste each other thoroughly. The need was so mad that I felt like I could stay like that forever, kissing the love of my life for eternity. His hand crept gently onto the back of my neck, his fingers running onto my skin, sending shivers down my whole body. I moved my fingers in his hair too, wanting to touch him so closely. His hair felt smooth as I ran my fingers into them making him smile against my lips.

So many thoughts were running in my mind because it felt like this kiss was different as if it was trying to convey something

So many thoughts were running in my mind because it felt like this kiss was different as if it was trying to convey something. I dismissed my assumptions because I wanted to enjoy his touch, his scent, his closeness without any second thoughts.

When he finally broke the kiss, he just looked at me with an inexplicable emotion running on his face. We both breathed heavily resting our heads against each other. It felt so right, being with him gave me freedom. He scanned my face, looking at me as if trying to say something. I looked back at him wanting to know what he would say.

"I lo..." He started but the knock on the door interrupted us.

"Yes," I answered.

"Umm, everyone is calling you both for dinner." We heard my younger cousin's voice.

"We are coming, Samridhi," I yelled through the door. When I heard her footsteps retreating, I looked back at Ashish. He was still looking at me.

"What were you saying?" I asked looking at him.

"It can wait." He said smiling.

"Let's go then," I said smiling and turned to go but he pulled me back from the waist.

"No, I don't want to eat dinner with them." He said nuzzling into my neck. He looked so cute, just like a baby throwing tantrums. Oh, my heart!

"Then," I whispered

"Then," I whispered.

"I want to eat dinner with just you and I'll cook." He said kissing my neck.
