•Chapter 2: Past?•

I woke up with a bright light shine on my face. I realized I was still at the hospital. I glanced to my brother greeting me with a cute smile..

"Good morning Noona~" He greeted me. The bright sunlight illuminated from outside through the window. I squinted my eyes, trying to adjust to the brightness.

"Good morning" I sleepily smiled back.

"Noona! I heard you already found a job..." He gave me a closed smile as he played with the sheets of his blanket.

"Yes, I did. Don't worry, when I earn enough money, You'll see the world again. " I said with a closed smile.

Soojun spended most of his life at the hospital since the doctors said its bad for him to stay outside and since his condition will getting worse.

The doctors said that he will go through surgery soon, but I don't have enough money for the surgery yet. But I'll try and earn as much money as I could, for SooJun..

I checked my phone to see that I received a message from my cousin. I read the text and after that I checked the time and my eyes widened...

I'm gonna be late!

"SooJun sorry I have to go.  Taehyung will be coming and he said he will watch over you for a while.." He gave me a big smile...

"Okay Noona!~" he replied and I  smiled back before I left.

I arrived at the building and went hurriedly to the elevator. I arrived to the top floor and went straight to Mr. Min's office. I'm really anxious about if he'll yell at me cuz I'm late, like what hoseok said since I think I never been scolded before from Mr. Min.

I hesitated an knocked the door and as usual, I waited before I heard a 'Come in' and opened the door.

Before I could speak, he spoke." Your late." he said with a blank expression.

"I-Im really sorry sir. I-" before I continued, He cut me off.

"This is just your second day of work and your already not doing well! You're even wearing the same clothes from yesterday!" He said.

I didn't even realize I hadn't changed. this is so embarrassing. "I'm really sorry sir. I was was at the hos-" He cut me off once again.

"No! Just get to work!" He demanded. I bowed and left and walk straight to the other room to start doing the paperwork.

Seconds, minutes, maybe hours passed and I finally finished doing the paperwork. I stacked the paperwork and went to Mr. Min's office. I reached the door. I knocked on the door but I didn't wait for his answer. I grabbed the handle and opened the door.

"Sir I finished the paperwork" I said and he turned his head to me. He had that usual emotionless expression covering his face. I wonder what he's been going through? I wonder what he looks like other than just looking mean and emotionless.

"Put them on the table and get ready" he replied and I gave him a confused look.

"Get ready for what Sir?" I asked as I approached the table and placed the papers.

"I have to go to a meeting so I need you to come with me as my executive assistant." He said with a cold tone.

"Yes sir." I almost whispered due to the scary aura.
