All I ever need was you (Hyakkimaru and Dororo)

Chapter 10

Hyakkimaru's pov

We were getting ready for surprise mom as Tahomaru order the maids to bring her favorite flowers and other things while Mutsu and Hyogo were helping the chefs. Today was mom's birthday and everyone was getting ready for her. Dad wasn't here, he was at Himeji for a meeting but he said that he would get off early to celebrate her birthday. While I was helping the maids to bring the flowers which was red and white. Like Mio's song, 'Red Flower, White Flower'. It was a folk song of the Sengoku Area and it used that song of a story. It tell about a beautiful Princess who works of a Shinto shrine and the Demon King. It was one of the favorites of Mio and even Dororo when we were little.

Ones of maids said that she was coming as we went to our position and wait for she came. When she open the door and we shouted 'Surprise' as she was surprised and soon smile while we said 'Happy Birthday'. "Thank you, everyone" she said as we went to eat while mom was getting her presents. One of them were from me and Tahomaru which she grab it and open it as revealing a beautiful green, floral kimono with a flower headpiece. I notice mom's face was lit up and her smile grew more. I was happy that she was happy like Tahomaru was. We spend like this for the mid morning unlit our father came. Our father, Jukai Daigo is a middle aged man with a bread and stout body. He was wearing a black suit with a black shoes.

Dad agree mom as he said 'Happy Birthday' which make mom's smile brighter than before. Me and Tahomaru give them personal time alone as we went to my room. "Alright, brother. Lets get the suits and get ready for night. I bet you going to be mesmerized by Dororo's  dress" Tahomaru teased me as I shot a glare at him while he was giving his teasing smile which is one of my fears. I really don't mind he tease me about girls who thinks of me like Prince Charming or attractive but when it comes about a girl who I like lot. He a master of teasing me badly and it goes worst if I show a blush or a  mesmerize look. I really hope you get a girlfriend because just wait when I tease you with a girl you like, Tahomaru.

I sigh as I went to my dresser and check some clothes before I went to my closet. I check some good shoes and ties while I notice Tahomaru went back to his room. I think he needs to check on Hyogo since it rare for him without Mutsu being with him. I change into a formal, black tuxedo with black knot tie. I went to Tahomaru's room and seeing that he was wearing a light brown slim fit suit while he was having trouble with tying his tie. This you don't know how to tied a tie. "Want some help?" I asked as Tahomaru nods and I walked towards him and help him with his tie. It remind of those times when we went to America for a meeting and we have to dress formal since the Mayor was giving a party. It was really fun for us and we learn that New York have lot people from different countries.

Quite of interesting, I guess. I finished with his knot as Tahomaru look at the mirror and seeing he look fine for the party. Now we can leave. Me and Tahomaru left the room and went to the ball room which the bulters and workers have it all ready. They have the food, the drinks and the dancers. Everything was perfect for mom's party, even Tahomaru was amazing with it. This is going to be a wonderful party for mom. "It look like that some of the guest have arrived early than we expect" Hyogo as we saw him in a navy blue suit which was right of his size since he very tall than us. Tahomaru nods as I asked if Dororo and the girls are here while Hyogo shook his head and saying they haven't arrived yet which I made me somewhat nervous as the guests were entering.

I was really nervous how will Dororo look like. I mean, she been wearing feminine clothes when we talk out of school. But I was absolutely nervous about Dororo. Even I couldn't even think right. "Brother! Help me!" I heard Tahomaru's voice as I saw him being dragged by elder ladies of the Clans while Hyogo was talking with his parents. I had to save Tahomaru from the Elders. I snatched Tahomaru from the elders while he was panting and thank me for saving him from a almost arrange marriage with their granddaughters. Do they really need him to get marry. I sigh of brief while I take Tahomaru to the drinks and give him a glass of water as he take it and drink it. "Why they keep ask me if I want to get marry!? I know I'm the second heir of Daigo Clan but why they can't take you along instead of me!" He whine while I sigh and saying that I don't know.

Since I lost Mio, all the Clans agreed to not bother me of getting a fiancee or arrange marriage with their heiress. Since that, all the elder ladies been targeting Tahomaru since he doesn't have a girlfriend or in relationship. I feel really sorry from him how he have to deal with this lot. I really hope he find a girlfriend before the elder kill him. I could see that happening. It wasn't long unlit Mutsu and Okowa come. Mutsu was wearing a formal dark purple kimono with light purple obi and white socks with white sandals. Okowa wear formal lace pink, quarter sleeves, elegant dress with some white heels. Both of them look good as I asked where was Dororo.

"With your mom" Okowa smile as I look over was mom and seeing her wear the kimono me and Tahomaru give with Dororo who I was mostly mesmerized by her. Dororo wears a elegant pink pearl, floor lenght dress which it look beautiful on her. Oh god, she got more beautiful than before....
