"IS LAUREN GOING TO BE THERE?"
i sip on my iced coffee, johnny is sitting across me, my legs are on his lap. his fingers are on my ankle doing some circle movement, giving me tingles all over.
"yeah, but she wouldn't mind if you come over"
johnny's convincing me to visit him in spring break. he's dropping me home tonight, thank god for that or else dad would have to come pick me up.
"yeah i know, i'm not coming to spend time with you orlandhoe, i wanna see lolo" i chew on my straw and he flips me off.
"i'll miss you" he says randomly
"boy it's 2 weeks, and we live like 10 minutes away from eachother" he notices my shoelaces are untied and starts tying them, bunny ears style. i don't realize i'm smiling like an idiot.
hayden walks in the coffee shop and spots us, he's wearing his everyday red shorts and black t-shirt. he's really tall, taller than johnny.
he stops at our table, looks down at us and says, "hey dude, i got this chicks number yesterday, want it?"
johnny glances at me for a second, if he says yes then he definitely doesn't have feelings for me. and nadia would be wrong.
"nah bro" johnny finally says, i sigh in relief.
"come on! it's been forever since you've had a girl." hayden says obviously confused with johnny.
he stays silent.
"i see what's going on..." hayden says eyeing me, i look down uncomfortably. i'm confused
"ask her out" hayden says, i try to analyze his movements trying to see who 'her' is.
"shut the fuck up" johnny says and his jaw tightens.
i feel my heart breaking a bit, johnny likes someone else. i take deep breathes trying not to assume things.
"ask who out?" i ask quietly
"y-" hayden says but johnny jumps up from his seat and cuts him off. my legs drop to the floor, my airforce 1's making a loud thud.
"dude! leave before i kick your ass!" johnny partly yells lightly pushing him away.
hayden smirks and leaves, "adios mon amis"
johnny sits back down and looks ashamed, "sorry about that"
i half-smile. "well i'm gonna go.." i say as i get up throwing my cup in the bin, johnny close behind me.
we leave the cafe and he opens his arms with a sheepish smile, i roll my eyes. my cheeks heat up.
shit.
"it was a one time thing hun"
"hug me or i won't drive you" he says annoyed
i quickly hug him. i try to release, but he holds me way too tight.
"i'll pick you up at 6" he says while walking away.
"bye!" i yell out, i'm embarrassed because that was really loud. i keep my head low and walk back to my room.
