▹ The little girl

Busy, busy, busy.

The boys were at the venue, filming for Burn The Stage as they practised for the performance. It had been a long day of preparation spent at the venue, they'd been there since first thing in the morning and though George was excited, he wanted a new scenery.

"I'm tired. Help me," he spoke breathlessly to the camera as they finished Mic Drop. He then turned so that the camera had a view of a stressed Namjoon. "Here we have...a wild RM in his natural habitat. We watch in amazement as he flutters his arms like wings out of pure frustration most likely caused by one of the Little Einstein's aka the Maknae's."

George let out a loud groan as he was called to run over 'DNA', he'd performed this choreography that many times that it literally did it in his sleep, no joke, Jin once walked in whilst he was sleeping to find George in the middle of the DNA choreography yet completely passed out.

He moved to get into his position, however, whilst waiting for the music to start he felt something start to pull on his leg. He looked down with wide eyes to find a little girl no older than 2 staring up at him with big, curious brown eyes. George's heart completely melted as she lifted her arms up.

He looked around for her mother, but she began to get irritated and let out a whine. Chuckling, George lifted her up and held her on his hip as the music began. She squealed and covered her ears just as one of the staffs rushed out in a panicked state – she must have been the parent.

"She's fine here with me if that's alright with you," George told her as the music stopped again due to the minor incident. The woman nodded and pressed a kiss to her daughter's cheek, she didn't feel worried. She'd known George for years, her daughter was in safe hands. "Can you get her some headphones? The music hurts her ears."

The woman nodded once again and rushed off to get the headphones. In the mean time, George pressed her ear against his chest and used his hand to cover the other one. He kept her in a safe hold, but it did mean that he couldn't sing his part As he couldn't lift the mic to his mouth.

"Jiminnie-Ah! Will you please hold my microphone when it's time for my part?" He asked to which the younger boy nodded. Taehyung was having a mini heart attack beside him over his hyung and an adorable kid.

The music began again and George made sure to be extra careful. The little girl in his arms giggled as she bounced in his arms making George smile along with her. When it was his time to sing, Jimin did as asked and held the mic up to George's mouth, he began to sing his lines and the little girl pulled back from his chest to look at him with an 'o' face.

His eyes fell on her face and he chuckled before singing to her. She grinned excitedly having his attention, when his part was up, she wouldn't stop looking at him. George pointed towards the camera that was on him and told her to wave, which she did quite shyly.

Finally, her mother returned with headphones during Yoongi's rap. George moved off to the side, unaware of the camera following him and placed her down on the ground. He kneeled down in front of her and took the headphones off her mother, who then quickly ran away covering her face. George grinned widely at the smiling toddler and placed the headphones over her tiny ears, they were much too big for her but they did the trick.

When she realised that George was done, she held her arms up again, wanting nothing more than to be close to him. George adjusted her headphone so he could ask her something before he lifted her up. 

"What's your name?" He asked in her ear so she would hear him.

"Sooyeon," she responded cutely. "You're Georgie."

George giggled and nodded his head before clapping enthusiastically, which she began to do as well. "That's right!" She lifted her arms up again and George shook his head amused, he lifted her up and this time cradled her. He made sure he had a tight grip before rocking her with the beat of the music.

She laughed loudly as Taehyung and Jimin came over to see her once the music had stopped. George then realised that he hadn't sung any of his parts, but Namjoon didn't seem to mind as he came over grinning. Eventually, George and Sooyeon we're surrounded by the entirety of BTS.

"Looks like George has adopted a child. Why do you like George so much?" Hoseok asked her.

"Favourite."

"Oh, So George is your bias?" She nodded her head, the boys knew she had no idea what they were talking about, but they cheered anyway which she decided she wanted to copy. "She's living every fangirls dream."

"Is George your best friend?" Taehyung asked her as he tickled her tummy.

She shook her head and kissed George's cheek. "Boyfriend."

His eyes widened in surprise as he looked down at her. She was smiling confidently, which made the other boys burst out laughing – typical toddler behaviour.

"I don't remember agreeing to this, Sooyeon."

"I don't care," she responded cutely and scrunched up her nose. George turned to the camera and shook his head with wide, yet amused eyes.

"Well she's your perfect match for sassiness," Jin told him.

George scoffed. He's not that sassy...right?...
