In the case of endometriosis, pain often starts before menstruation, becomes almost unbearable during menstruation, and fades after it ends. You may have a pain-free interval for 2-2.5 weeks before it starts starts building up again.

Wherever this tissue is located, it goes through the same cyclical phases as the endometrium in the uterus. The endometrial tissue also secretes pain-producing chemicals called cytokines. Consult a specialist if you suspect you have endometriosis.**as someone that suffers from endometriosis, I can honestly say that periods are absolutely unbearable. But also, even when my period isn't near, I still get awful pains and horrible gas and cramps due to it. It can cause serious pain at anytime. Some women even have it so bad that they can't eat certain things without vomiting. I occasionally get diarrhea on my period but it mostly constipates me. It's got a lot of different symptoms, mostly excruciating pain. Definitely get checked out by your OB/GYN if you think you have endometriosis! Get some help, ladies! 🖤
