Joy to the world | NCT Jisung FF

~Time Skip to one of the last days of the holidays~

"I don't want to say Goodbye yet!!" I whined at my older brother Changbin who just came back from the world tour with his group as I clinged onto Jisung, Taeyong, Jungwoo and Xiaojun with a big hug. I wasn't planning on letting go of them, I didn't want them to leave already.

"Alita, they have other things to do as well. They need to prepare for performances and all stuff like that. Let them go" my older sibling said while trying to pull me away from them. I kept on being stubborn though, not loosening my grip.
It worked and he had given up at some point, now walking up to all the other members to apologize for my behaviour.

"I'm sorry for the way she is acting, this probably was a bad idea from the start" I heard him say to them which kind of made my heart sting a bit. I didn't think it was a bad idea, it was probably the best thing that ever happened to me so it hurt to hear him talk about it like that. At these words I then also let go of the four members I was holding onto, looking ashamed to the ground. This attracted Changbins attention again and he talked to me directly again.

"Are you done with having your 5 minutes?" he chuckled at his own sentence a bit, trying to lighten up the mood regardless of the current situation.
Not looking up from the ground, I mumbled "I'm sorry for my behaviour as well" with a hurt undertone in my voice which was clearly heard from everyone since everybodys expression changed into a sad one in a second. Without another word I then ran upstairs into my room and locked myself in. The last thing I heard on the way to my room was Jisungs soft but worried voice calling out my name.

After I slammed my door shut and locked myself in, I jumped on my bed and laid on my stomach, burying my face into a pillow.
I just wanted to sleep, escape this reality right now. I know that it's not that mature to just run away from responsibilities and life but in this moment I didn't care.
But when I closed my eyes to fall asleep, a gentle knock on my door caught my attention.

Jisung's P.O.V.
"Don't worry about her, she's probably on her 'special days' or something like that" Alita's brother tried to reassure us but my gaze was still on the staircase. I was worried and after all, I didn't want to leave yet either.

Suddenly there was a loud honk outside of the house and our Leader then looked outside a window to make sure. He looked at everyone after that and said something that I wish he would've never said out loud.
"Our chauffeur is here to pick us up guys"
Most of the members just nodded, making their way outside but I approached him slowly, being the only one left and asked him quietly. "Can you tell him to wait for just a few more minutes? I have to talk to her again.." Unsure and scared of what he would say to my question, I looked to the side and nervously bit my lip.
The next thing I knew was that his hand was resting on my shoulder and when I looked at him, he simply nodded with a smile on his face.

I thanked him and in a rush I quickly ran upstairs to Alitas room, knocking on her door gently. I waited for an answer and what I got was an "Go away Changbin!"
With the softest and most calming voice I could do I talked to her through the door "I'm not Changbin.. Can I talk to you for a second?" Her voice got a bit louder which made me assume that she got closer to the door. But she still wouldn't let me in so I just kept on talking like this.

"We all don't want to leave yet either but.. We can still come visit you from time to time! And also.. We can still see each other every day in school, you know?" I said the last part quieter than the first part, scratching the back of my neck a bit shyly.
"Do you promise that we'll hang out in the breaks?" Her soft voice filled my ears and it brought a smile onto my face again.
"I promise!"

Then there was a short moment of silence again. I was about to go back downstairs to the others who were already in the car when the door to her room suddenly shot open and two arms wrapped around me tightly. My eyes widened out of the unexpected shock but since I knew who it was, I hugged her back.

"I'll miss all of you..but see you on Monday then"
She whispered into my ear in a slightly sad tone but trying to sound happy, her warm breath stroking my skin as she hugged me even tighter for a short moment before she let go and said goodbye.
We went downstairs together and before I got into the car, I said goodbye to her as well. As we drove away she waved goodbye shortly and then went back into the house again.

And I oop-
From now on this is gonna play mainly in school and with mostly only Jisung cuz damn it's exhausting to try and give every member some kind of role.
