Licking his lips at me, he stared intensively at me with his 6'3 figure standing over me, realizing i had no more room to back up i stood frozen in my spot as my breath hitched in my throat. He brought his hands to my neck gentle squeezing it
"Why...
It was late at night and Amir was finally getting settled down into his bed flicking through channels on the television just as his phone rung. He glanced down at the phone before hitting the answer button.
"Wassup ma" giving the phone his attention.
"Your big headed ass don't know how to call nobody no more huh" his grandmother yelled through the phone.
"Momma i been busy it wasn't intentionally" he laughed
"Busy ass Amir you been all depressed and shit since that pretty girl left"
"She ain't leave we just had a break we was still together"
"Well whatever so what's going on now"
"We been doing good so far ma the love i have for this girl gets stronger i never thought we'd ever work out honestly"
"Opposites attract Amir you needed somebody like her to balance you out all the way now you may not understand what i mean now but you'll eventually catch on but alright baby i was just calling since my grandson can't pick up a phone anymore".
"I promise imma call you more ma"
"Mhm whatever now get the hell off my line" he heard the dial tone before he could respond. Before he could place his phone back down he saw Katrina calling him. Slightly smiling he answered the phone.
"Hey mamas wassup"he laid fully down placing the phone on speaker.
"Hey boo just calling to check on you before i go to sleep"
"Yeah I'm straight ma you good?" He questioned.
"Not at all its that time of the month and these cramps are kicking my ass right now and i needed to hear your voice to calm me"
"I'm on my way" he hung up the phone before getting out his bed and placing on some slides and a hoodie , making his way down stairs and out the door he made sure he locked up before getting into his car.
Going to the nearest Walgreens he walked in going from isle to isle looking for the womanly products. Finding the isle he stood there confused looking at all the different brands. He leaned down about to pick up some overnight pads but he was interrupted.
"Don't get those get the organic brand of those and tampons it helps cramping , reduce bloating , and it causes a lighter flow and remember don't get her ice cream it just makes the cramping worse" he glanced at the girl behind him.
"Nice looking out" he grabbed both things before making his way to the candy isle and grabbing her favorite things plus some chocolate. Going up to the counter he grabbed some medicine a near by teddy bear and some roses. After ringing everything up he paid before making his way to Katrinas house.
In less than 30 minutes with the help of music distracting him he made it to her place killing the engine. Grabbing the things, he made his way to the door. Unlocking it he walked in locking the door behind him. Walking to the back he saw kay holding a pillow in between her legs and clutching her stomach. Making his presence known her head popped up noticing all the stuff in his hands.
" oh my god Amir your gonna make me cry" she tried getting up.
" baby lay down i got it" he placed the roses and bear on the table before removing his hoodie and slides and getting into bed.
"Here take this"he handed her two tablets and the water from her nightstand. Sitting up slowly she did as told before laying back down. He placed the bag on the floor before laying down with her bringing her body closer to him as he started rubbing her lower back watching as she moaned in satisfaction.
"I swear i love you" she said lowly closing her eyes.
"I love you too mamas" he continued rubbing her back until he heard her light snores and he begin letting sleep take over his body as well.
Katrina felt as if somebody was shaking her so she woke up to see Amir standing over her, and she looked at him confused.
"Come on Baby you had a accident in the bed" Katrina raised up looking down as she noticed the blood on her sheets she looked away embarrassed as she got up, making her way into the bathroom she saw the tub was filled with rose petals.
" i heard baths reduce the blood so i just ran you a bath, go ahead and wash up while i get everything cleaned up. She nodded her head while looking down, shutting the door behind him he went back into the room removing the sheets.
Luckily it didn't stain the mattress so that's one less thing he had to worry about. Placing the sheets in the washer he started it before going into the kitchen. He made a quick breakfast while she was still in the tub.

Right as he sat everything down on the table Katrina walked in looking in awe at what he had done for her. He didn't feel grossed out nor did he leave her he stayed and helped her in a time of need. He looked at her smiling before going over and placing a kiss on her lips
"Come sit down so we can eat ma" she followed him and sat down looking at the food in front of her. They both said grace before eating.
"Thank you Amir for not making me feel embarrassed or nasty"
"No need to thank me baby it's natural so i just want you to relax today because today is gonna be all about you, you understand" she nodded before blushing.
She indeed has a good man and wouldn't trade him for anything In the world. Him staying and helping her made her appreciate him so much more he truly is an amazing person inside and out
