edit: i didn't change anything to the q&a. you can still read it if you want to, it just kind of allows you to look into a character's mind (and my ability to ramble endlessly)

a/n: i don't really know what i've written or anything. i don't even know if i'm doing this whole thing right. so like yeah. anyways i'm dividing the q&a into two parts because it's just too long, because at first it might be exciting but then as you scroll and scroll and scroll, you just get this feeling like gosh, does this never end. well, personally, i feel like that, so yeah i'm dividing it into two parts. end of story.

Author: Hello, everyone

[pretends there's a big crowd when there's barely five people]

Author: Welcome to, um..., the interview session of "the boy on the bridge". Here we'll be interviewing the characters from the story one by one based on the questions submitted by you readers

[squeals excitedly but stops upon noticing the bored look from the little crowd present]

Author: And as a bonus, we get to interview the author as well- which is well me

[awkward laugh, and then in a softer voice]

Author: Just bear with me a little longer yeah

[back to normal voice]

Author: First off we have the main character in the story Joshua Goldmann.

[Josh walks on stage nervously, not looking anywhere but straight ahead]

Josh: Hi.

[Josh takes a seat opposite author, and waves awkwardly]

Author: Hello, Josh, or shall we call you "golden boy" as someone particularly likes to call you?

[Josh visibly blushes, although he desperately tries to hide it]

Josh: Josh is fine.

Author: Well then, Josh it is. So before we get started with the questions, how are you feeling today?

Josh: Good, maybe a bit nervous.

Author: There's absolutely no need to get nervous, Joshua. Get yourself comfortable. And shall we get started?

Josh: Sure.

Author: Alright let's start off with a simple question first. If you could be in a movie, what would it be? Would you change any aspects of the movie?

Josh: Um... honestly, I don't know. There are so many great movies out there that I'd love to be a part of. But if I were to choose one, I would choose... Damn I really don't know. I can't even think of one right now. [laughs out loud all of a sudden] I'm sorry I was just thinking of how I could be a part of Titanic and just smack both Jack' and Rose's heads, telling them how they could like switch places on the plank or something. I really don't know, I'm sorry.

Author: It's alright, we'll move on to the next question. Why did you actually want to jump off the bridge at the beginning of the story? And what made you not do it?

Josh: Okay, I'll try my best to explain all about it. And also, I'm not trying to justify myself here or anything, alright. I know what I was about to do that day was wrong in every way. So to be frank I was stressed and absolutely worn out down to every inch of my bones. And at that point, it was just hard to figure out what's the point in life anymore. Not to sound like a brat, but my parents- especially my father could sometimes be a bit overbearing. So in addition to being on the verge of giving up, my father lectured me earlier that day on how it was important to be at your best at all times, because people are always watching. Then he started talking about college, where I should apply, what I should study, not once even considering that there might be something else that I want.
