Stay With Me: Hogwarts Rewritten

Part 20

"Harry! Wake up! Please we have get ready! We get to go back to Hogwarts today!" I yelled jumping on his bed over and over again

"Hermione! Stop jumping I'm coming" He finally said getting out of the bed

I already had all my things packed and I was ready to go. Harry chose to sleep in today not knowing I was going to be there and wake him up. He was definitely not a morning person.

"Mum made breakfast and after that you need to get packed. We only have 2 hours until we need to leave" I told him before marching out of his room

I made my way downstairs and to the table with mum and dad. They were talking about there work and I was still waiting for Harry. Finally Harry came downstairs and took a seat next to me. It wasn't long till we finished breakfast and I was helping Harry pack.

"Alright. I'm almost finished and then we can get going. I'm glad to be going back. I want this year to be normal. All I want is to play quidditch, pass my classes, and be with you. What about you Mione?" Harry asks me placing his things in his trunk

I was nervous. I still thought about what Ron said to me, what if he continues to call me that. I have dealt with bullying in the past but this....this is cruel.

"Mione?" Harry called my name again

"Sorry just lost in thought I guess" I told him as he continued packing

"Harry? Do you think Ron will call me that name again, and what if he told Draco about it. I don't want them calling me that" I asked him laying down on his bed

"I don't want you to think about that. He is nothing but a jealous boy who only puts down people to make himself feel better. If he comes near you, I will have no control of my actions" He said laying down next to me

I was glad to have Harry.

Later....

My parents just dropped us off on the platform and we we tried to make our way through the barrier, but something happened. I then saw Harry crash into the side and the barrier.

"Harry! Are you alright? What happened?" I yelled running over to him

"I don't know. How are we supposed to get onto the platform now? What could possibly be blocking it?" He asked picking up his stuff and ignoring the looks people were giving him

"I'll send Professor Mcgonagall a message and explain what happened. She will know what to do, or at least could take us to school" I told him quickly pulling out a piece of parchment and writing the letter, i then quickly sent it with Hedwig

"Hopefully she answers" Harry says taking a seat on one of the benches outside the train station

It wasn't too long when we saw a familiar face walk over to us. It was a cat, but not just any cat. The professor had to be in her animagus form to avoid any strange looks from the muggles. We got our stuff and followed her over to an abandoned alley so she could change.

"I have no idea what is wrong with the barrier. I do appreciate you thinking on your feet and making the right decision. If you two hold on to me, I could apparate you right in front of the school. I would take you to the common room, but there is no apparating inside Hogwarts" She explains holding out her arm

We both held on to her along with out trunks. Suddenly I felt this gust of wind and the next things I know, we are standing in front of the school.

"Now you two are very early, so please be discreet about your transportation here. I must get ready. And 10 points to Gryffindor for choosing the responsible choice" She said before walking off

"Welcome home Harry" I told him gazing at the castle before us, it was more amazing than I remember

He took my hand in his and we made our way inside and to the common room. Once we were both packed in our room, we changed into our uniforms.

We just hung out together sheiks waiting for eveyone to get here. They wouldn't be here for a few hours. Finally we heard the sounds of students and we went to the great hall.

"Harry! Hermione! We were all wondering what happened to you. We heard something was wrong with the barrier?" Neville asks us

"We don't know what happened but it wouldn't let us go through, so we just found another way here" I explained to them taking my seat next to Harry

"We thought you might have died...."

"Or get your head chopped off"

"Maybe been blinded"

"But then you couldn't see each other"

"Oh how terrible"

Fred and George finally finished talking to us back and forth and took a seat across from us. Before I could respond the great hall doors opened and all the first years came walking in, I could see Ginny amongst them.

The sorting hat was singing his normal song before names were being called. There was many students and finally they got on Ginny.

"Ginevra Weasley....Gryffindor!" The hat yelled

I clapped along with the other students and Ginny made her way over to me. She pulled me in for tight hug.

"I was worried you would've ended up in Slytherin with your brother" Harry told her

After all the names were called, the meal finally started. I missed the food here so much. I then started talking to Parvati.

"He's so handsome. And he gets to be are teacher all year" She says

Professor Lockhart was very handsome, he wasn't nearly as handsome as Harry but he didn't need to know that. I don't know why I found the teacher so attractive but I couldn't help it.

"I know. It will be hard focusing when he standing in front of the class" I told her and Ginny and they giggled

"You better not let Harry hear you. He will probably get really jealous" Ginny says giggling even more

I knew she was right. Harry wouldn't like me being attracted to a teacher, especially since he doesn't like him. He told me many times when we grabbed our books for this year.

"Hermione? You alright?" Parvati asks me

"Yeah just thinking about stuff" I told her and we continued to eat our food

After dinner I grabbed Harry's hand and we walked towards the common room. Our hands swung back and forth together as we walked in silence.

"So who were you talking about with Parvati and Ginny. What teacher do you think is so handsome?" He asked stopping

"Harry we were just talking about Professor Lockhart"

"Oh? Well you know how I feel about him. He isn't that handsome you know. He thinks he's some great wizard when probably everything thing in his books are lies" He told me

"You sound jealous. Are you jealous that I think he's handsome? I'll have trouble focusing in class with him staring at me" I joked

"Making fun of someone is not nice"

"You are the only guy for me. Don't worry about Lockhart, he is still a teacher. You don't need to be jealous" I wrapped my arms around him

"Sorry. I just care about you so much Mione" I hear him mumble into my shoulder

"I'm glad you care. Just don't be jealous when you know you are special to me"

I was still hugging him when we heard voices calling our names.

"You two going to stand there and snog already or join us in the common room" Seamus yelled

We looked over to see a few people staring at us and laughing. I just shrugged it off and went to the common room with everyone else.

Classes start tomorrow and I couldn't wait.
