Chapter 3

Pinky's words start playing in Anika's mind.She is totally confused as to the treatment she got from Pinky Singh Oberoi,her Mother-in-law(?)

She pushes aside all those thoughts.Getting up from the bed she goes to the cupboard and brings out Shivaay's night suit-his kurta pajama.All the necessary shopping has been done by Gauri and Omkara,for Shivaay and Anika.From cloths to every other accessories.Anika is waiting for Shivaay.He returns with water and asks her to take the medicine.Taking the glass Anika says-

A:  I will take on my own.First go and change.Here is your cloths.It was really a hectic day.You should rest now.Don't worry about me.I am fine.
Shivaay complies and heads for washroom.Few minutes later he comes out and finds Anika is yawning sitting on the bed.He comes near to her-

S:  You are looking tired.Go to sleep......He adjusts the pillow for Anika.She lies down while Shivaay covers her with duvet.

A:  Are you not coming to sleep?Shivaay hesitates a little then says-

S:  Actually Anika,I have some work to finish.Until I finish those,I won't be able to sleep.But you should not stay awake.Close your eyes and go to sleep like a good girl.Come on...........Anika does the same and falls into sleep in no time.Watching her Shivaay says in his mind-

"You sleep Anika.Don't know whether I will be able to sleep or not!"
Taking a deep sighing breath,he heads for pool balcony.Sitting there he keeps looking at Anika.

Around 12:30 am

Anika moves in her sleep.She is dreaming a blurry dream-A room which is full of people,girls and boys.They all are laughing and enjoying.Faces are not clear.Someone calls out her name.....

Right that moment she wakes up from the sleep.Her face is covered with sweat beads.Breaths are shallow but quickly falling.Anika looks at other side where Shivaay is supposed to sleep!But he is missing.Before Anika panics,she spots Shivaay inside pool balcony.He seems very busy in writing something in a diary.Anika decides not to disturb him.She again goes back to sleep despite the fear of watching nightmare.

First Morning In Sunflower Petals

6:50 a.m.

Anika wakes up from the sleep.She stretches both her hands under the duvet.Curtains are shaking getting the touch of mild morning air.Birds are chirping around SP.Anika hears that lying on the bed.Warm sun light is playing across the room.

Everything is looking beautiful and fresh.Anika sits on the bed then notices Shivaay is still in the pool balcony.He is sleeping supporting his head with both his hands on the table.Anika goes there.Sitting close,she stares at Shivaay.Morning light is disturbing him and he moves little.

Anika backs that side from where light is coming.Shivaay stops moving instantly.A sweet smile plays in Anika's lip.She forwards her hand to touch him but stops.Dropping the curtains and securing Shivaay from light,Anika moves out.

One Hour Later

Anika is drying her wet hair using a towel in front of dressing table.There Shivaay finally wakes up from his deep sleep.He looks around being confused like "What am I doing here?"

He feels his hands are paining for sleeping like that.Shivaay tries to get up but stops watching something.His gaze finds Anika who is getting ready.She has worn a orange-golden silk saree with white colour backless blouse.Little water droplets are falling from her hair as she keeps drying her hair.

Shivaay blinks his still sleepy eyes very slowly,watching her getting ready.There Anika puts on her regular accessories.Looking at the mirror she smiles.Suddenly she realizes something is missing and looks tensed.Watching that Shivaay enters into the room.Anika turns to go instead she slips because of water,fallen from her hair on the floor.

Shivaay comes running and takes her in his arms,stopping Anika from falling.Both get caught in an intense eye-lock!Blue,seductive eyes meet dark,hypnotic eyes!Few second passes like that.Very slowly Shivaay makes Anika stand on her feet without breaking the eye-contact.Anika is feeling shy in front of those keen gazes of Shivaay on her.She looks down.Finally Shivaay speaks up-

S:  Be careful Anika.What are you doing?You could just slip.You were looking tensed.Any problem?

Anika tries to tell but stops.

A:  Nothing important.You..You freshen up.I am going to make breakfast.Saying that she leaves the room rather in haste!
Shivaay gets confused-

S:  What has happend to her?

Kitchen

Anika comes in the kitchen.Her heart is beating little faster than usual.Closing eyes she takes a deep breath to calm down.Then she looks around the kitchen as she told Shivaay that she would make breakfast.But-

A:  O bete ki!I have said I will make breakfast but how?I have almost zero knowledge in cooking.I can only eat!Let me ask Mom over phone.How?I don't have any phone with me.What will I do now?What Shivaay is going to think about me?

Anika starts thinking.While she is thinking how she will solve the problem,Shivaay enters after getting ready.Finding Anika murmuring like that he says-

S:  Anika,hey what are you thinking now?Have you decided what will you make?

A:  Woh..actually...I...I don't know how to cook!Saying this line in jiffy Anika turns her back on Shivaay and covers her face with both the hand like a little girl!

Shivaay suppresses his laughter somehow watching Anika's antics.Holding her from behind he makes Anika turn to face him.Anika is looking cute though!Shivaay says smiling-

S:  Anika,move your hands(She nods in negative)Why?

A:  You will laugh!(In suppressed voice)

S:  I won't trust me.

A:  Sure?

S:  100%

On that Anika moves her hands but does not look at Shivaay.He makes Anika look at him holding her chin.Then cupping her both cheeks Shivaay says-

S:  Listen to me very carefully.So what if you can't cook?I can and that's enough for both of us.Don't put pressure on yourself for this simple thing okay?

A:  But Shivaay,I want to.

S:  Okay,then I will teach you cooking.Would you learn from me?Anika says 'Yes' happily.

S:  Let's start from today.Be my assistant/student while I make breakfast......Shivaay and Anika get busy in making breakfast.
