The shadowed male sighed under his breath, he felt so tired. And no, it wasn't exhaustion... He felt mentally tired... Guess that's what he gets for skipping out on his meds...

He knew he needed them, but they slowed him down. They made him feel weaker, even if they were helping him mentally.

Shaking his head, he walked the silent streets. Most cities would still have people roaming around, driving aimlessly, going for a quiet stroll, or even just trying to get some drugs. This city didn't do that.

Many people fear the night here. Maybe it was because of all of animal attacks, the murders of young men and women... Or it could because of the eerie feeling the place gets as the sun sets behind the horizon.

The male didn't care for the reason, he was just grateful for it. Since no one would be out during the night, he could do his work without any witnesses.

The shadows both welcomed and disowned him. The creatures he was hunting needed to be stopped, as even if someone was to be in a house, they would find a way in... No matter what they all say.

He saw them easily, the night being his strongest hour just like them... Only he was a worse creature than them, he just was mortal.

"Good night, children." He whispered into the darkness, raising his crescent blade high in the air.

They couldn't move before the blade swept down, killing them instantly.

Sighing softly, he went back to his walking, this time thinking... He had to call his boss after his rounds, they had to know...
