A/N: Soooo, I haven't been updating that often because of school, but I'm going to try and be more consistent. So here's this, sorry if it's really bad, bc yesterday was homecoming and I stayed up all night. So yeah. Enjoy :))

Peter was eating Froot Loops on the couch when something happened. Worse than anything Peter could imagine. The elevator dinged.

Okay that wasn't the bad thing. The bad thing was who was in the elevator.

The rogues. The people who had tried to kill his dad. And Peter wasn't too fond of the idea of another dad dying.

He had jumped up to see if it was Tony, who would be coming any moment, and then sat back down when he saw who it was.

The rogues where supposed to come and live with Peter and Tony and Pepper, because even though they had signed the accords, Tony was supposed to watch them for a while.

"Oh it's just you." Peter said, and went back to slouching and eating his Froot Loops.

Peter was not in the mood for the rogues to be here. It was the one month anniversary of May's death, and all he wanted was Tony to be there to comfort him.

The rogues seemed surprised that Peter even existed. Peter found that funny. Maybe this wouldn't be too bad. Messing with them seemed kinda fun.

But anytime Peter became happy, it wouldn't be too long until he remembered May. And then he would slump down. And all he would want was her to be alive again. All he would want was one more hug from his Aunt.

Peter curled up in the corner of the couch, wanting to be alone.

Of course that couldn't happen. The rogues where still there.

"Who are you?!" A man Peter know as Steve said. Peter didn't want to talk anymore. They had put him in an even worse mood.

"Kid, you need to talk to us before we throw you out of our living quarters. This is avengers only." Hawk eye, or Clint, said.

"First of all, your living quarters. Your staying here for a few months, to be babysat. Secondly, you aren't avengers in my eyes anymore." Peter said, annoyed they thought they could just kick him out.

Finally the elevator dinged again. Thankfully Tony walked out. He stopped for a moment to look back and fourth between the rogues and Peter.

"I thought you guys came later." Tony said as he walked towards Peter.

"Aren't you going to kick the kid out?" Bucky said, confused, paying no attention to Tony's previous statement.

Tony rolled his eyes and sat down next to Peter holding him close. "I'm so sorry Peter. I didn't want them to come today, especially today. I know it's hard, and it's even worse if you have a butch of nosy war criminals coming to live here."

Peter nodded and quietly said, "I just want you to be here. I don't want them killing you too."

Tony sighed, heartbroken, "I know Bambi, I know it's hard, but they're getting better. They aren't going to kill anyone. No ones gonna die anymore Pete. You got that?"

Peter looked up, tears in his eyes, "Promise?"

Tony smiled softly, "Promise."

The rogues watched silently. Frankly they didn't understand what was going on. And they didn't know what to say. First of all, Tony didn't seem to think he 'intruder' was intruding, secondly, Tony was being caring, even hugging the kid. Thirdly, the kid seemed to be distressed, heck, he was almost crying, which Tony also seemed to understand.

"What's going on?!" Steve asked, wanting answers.

Peter finally straitened up, "Today's the one month anniversary of my last living, blood relative dying. My aunt."

Peter paused then added, "And you jackasses tried to kill my dad."

Tony laughed at Peters wording, and at the avengers face, going from shock, to sorrow, to annoyance, to shock again.

Natasha and everyone else seemed confused, "What do you mean? Who's your dad? I thought, all your relatives died?"

Peter rolled his eyes, "I'm adopted. Ever heard of that? That means I have a dad, but he doesn't share my dna."

Tony smiled. Peter was cute when he was angry.

"Also, connect the dots. I'm sitting in the penthouse of Tony Stark, eating Froot Loops. Tony Stark walked in and came to me, like me being here is normal, because it is."

Steve looked surprised, "Tony, you run an adoption agency too? I mean I guess I wouldn't be surprised, you can be a caring person sometimes..."

Natasha nodded, "I mean, good for you Tony, an adoption agency, that's good, very caring."

Clint slapped his face, "Tony is the kids adoptive dad, you dumbasses."

End :)
