Hoody looked down for a moment, then back at me. It was almost like he snapped out of a trance, even his posture changed.

" I'm sorry..." He mumbled as he swung the crowbar over his head.

*******************************************************************************

I closed my eyes, waiting for it to happen. This is how I die. This is it. I'll get to see my little sister again.

'I'm coming, Lily...' I thought.

But my death didn't come. Why? I looked up, just in time, and saw Aiden tackle Hoody to the ground. Thank god he's in football.

Wait.... I was supposed to be protecting him!

Aiden and Hoody were in a fist fight now, Hoody's crowbar was to the side. I stood up, shaking, and limped over to it. They didn't notice. I snatched the crowbar, just in time, too.

Hoody lifted Aiden, and threw him against the truck, knocking him out, maybe even killing him.

"NO!" I screamed. Hoody made a deal. He wouldn't hurt Aiden. He may not have killed me yet, but that doesn't mean he can break his promise.

Hoody looked at me, as if he didn't care.

"You... you broke your promise..." I whispered, and I'm guessing he realized what he did, because I could tell he was taken aback, or in the midst of realizing it through his mask.

I needed to make sure Aiden's okay. I don't give a shit about Hoody anymore. I wanna make sure Aiden didn't die.

I started to limp towards Aiden, and dropped the crowbar. I could attack Hoody later.

I dropped to the ground near Aiden, and sat next to his body. I laid his head in my lap, and stroked his hair. I just hope he'll be alright.

Hoody crouched down next to me.

" What do you  want?" I yelled. I was tired of him. I just wanted Aiden to wake up.

Hoody grabbed me by my throat, and slammed me into the ground again.

All the air left my body, leaving me gasping.

" I was trying to have some respect, and let you spend your final moments with him.... but unfortunately, you can't keep your mouth shut!" He shouted at me.

I felt tears form at the corners of my eyes.

I heard shouting in the distance, one of the voices familiar.

But I didn't care anymore. I was tired of this Bullshit. I may wanna save Aiden, and this could be the only way, but how can I trust him? If I die, I can't make sure he doesn't hurt Aiden. Besides, I may as well go down fighting, right?

I pushed myself off the ground. I almost collapsed again, but I couldn't let him see me weak.I can't let anyone see me weak. My legs were a bit shaky. My head felt like it was spinning at 100 mph. I could barely breath, my body was so.... worn. I could barely do this anymore. I just wanted to collapse in bed and go to sleep. I want this to be over.

"You can barely even stand up? What makes you think you can face me?" Hoody said arrogantly.

My rib cage ached, my head hurt so much I could barely focus. Hoody. I was going to hurt him. I would try as hard as I can.

"Well, it's ungentlemanly to hurt  a woman who can barely stand, isn't it?" I asked as I stepped closer.

"Do I look like a gentleman?' Hoody asked as he swung his crowbar at me. The voices shouting sounded like they were getting closer.
