Chapter 3 The Mindflayer

It was Wensday morning and Lilly and her new friends were asleep. Lilly woke up to see if her sister Hailey was home yet. But Hailey wasn't there. Lilly; i wonder where Hailey is. Lilly started to get worried. The night that Hailey and Billy left Murray's Billy offered Hailey a ride home, but Hailey refused to get in the car with him because she thought she might feel a certain way about him like how she keeps feeling when she's around him , so Hailey decided to walk home in the dark. Hailey; burrr, im so cold. She said to herself. Hailey; maybe I should have taken Billy's offer. Hailey; it's so dark and creepy out here. All of a sudden Hailey heard a noise. Hailey;hello is anyone there!!! She shouted. Know one responded, which made Hailey terrified. Something had snatched Hailey up from her leg and Hailey screamed so loud that everyone should have heard her, but she was in the middle of know where so know one heard her. Hailey was passed out the whole time. When Hailey woke up she had blood and slime all over her. Hailey was scared and she ran for her life. While Hailey was running she ran to a phone booth to call 911 but when the police answered the phone the power shut off. Hailey;who's there. She said with tears running down her face. Still no response. When Hailey turned around she saw a group of people standing there looking at her but she couldn't see what they looked like. Hailey; what do you want. She shouted. And one of the people walked out of the group of people. The person she saw was herself. Hailey had no words. Hailey's shadow self told Hailey they want what she sees. Hailey had no idea what that meant. After shadow Hailey tells Hailey what she wanted to say they all disappeared leaving Hailey in the dark again.  Hailey did not know where she was at when she saw  the shadow people all she remembered was the world looking the same but with white flurries falling to the ground and it wasn't snow. Hailey felt dizzy and fainted in the middle of know where on Tuesday night. ( up to speed back to wensday)
Max and El heard Lilly crying in the bathroom when they were at Lilly's house. Max; Lilly are you okay. Lilly came out of the bathroom still crying. El; what's wrong Lilly? Lilly; it's my sister, im worried about her. She said with tears falling down her face. Lilly;I haven't seen her since yesterday morning. Max;its okay Lilly El can- Max quickly stopped herself before she told Lilly about El's powers. El; it's okay Max, you can tell her. Lilly; tell me what. Max ; El has powers and she can find your sister. Lilly; are you joking? Max; no were serious. Lilly; El, can you find my sister. El; yes . The girls went back in
Lilly's room, closed the door,  and turned the radio on so they can find Hailey. El put a blindfold on and had a picture of Hailey in her hand. El ; Hailey!! Hailey!! She shouted El finally saw Hailey fainted on the ground and saw a man in a truck drive by and see her and put her in his truck.  El told Max and Lilly what she had saw. Lilly;we should tell my parents and they'll call the police. The girls told Lilly's parents about Hailey and they called the police. But the police couldn't find Hailey. Lilly's parents started to get worried. Hailey woke up in a truck with a man sitting beside her driving. Hailey;who... who are you. She said to the man. Paul; oh you finally woke up. Paul; im paul and i found you in the middle of know where. Hailey; where are we. Paul ;we are in California. Hailey;wait what. Hailey ; you kidnapped me? Paul; no of course not little darling. Paul; so where ya from. Hailey;why do you wanna know. Paul ; well im just trying to make small talk. Hailey; are you taking me home if i tell you . Paul;of course. Hailey;im from New York but me and my family moved to Hawkins. Paul;and how do you feel about this new move. Hailey ; i was upset at first, but I think im starting to like it there. Hailey;but at my job as a lifeguard,  I  saw these strange rats and they were exploding. Paul;oh really, that's strange. Paul; hey wanna beer. Hailey;oh im only 17. Paul;yeah, but your almost 18. Paul persuasive words convinced Hailey to drink the beer. When Hailey drunk the beer she started to feel dizzy again and she fainted because the beer that Paul gave her was drugged. Hailey thought that she could trust Paul but Paul was in disguise he was actually a Russian spy.
