Last chapter~ Zelda gets Bludos support and examines the Divine Beast. She and Paya find out Zirin is apart of the Yiga Clan.

"Zirin? This... can't be happening..." Paya, though heartbroken, slowly made her way in front of me, shielding me from Zirin.

I should've known... I should've been more careful... I walked away from Link when he wasn't paying attention... and I knew that we shouldn't have trusted Zirin! Goddesses I was right to be suspicious from the beginning!

I have got to get this situation under control.

I carefully push myself past Paya and raising my hands to show I mean no harm. "Zirin... we've been through so much together... you can come back from this. I will forgive and forget right now if you put the weapon away." I keep the fact that I'm desperate hidden, hoping he won't realize.

"That is not an option. This has been my mission from the beginning. Where's Link now, Princess?" He smirks.

Not good. Where is a way out? I wish my depleted sealing power would be of use. I could... scream? Maybe?

"Don't." He's seen right through me...

"Zirin please stop. You know... you know I love you more than anything, so please..." Paya pleads, hoping her love will reach him.

Paya tries to walk in front of me again, but I stop her mid-way.

"Don't hurt anyone." I demand.

"As you wish." He quickly appears in front of me, throwing me over his shoulder.

"NO!" Paya screams, trying to pull me down.

I could tell. I didn't have to look at his face, or hear his heart shiver...

The one thing he really cares about...

Is Paya.

She desperately sought to get me back, but Zirin shoved her away.

He's willing to hurt Paya? The Yiga are so cruel. What did they do to you, Zirin?

"Link." I called out to him, hoping he'd hear.

"Link... save me." He heard. I know he did. He has to.

Link's P.O.V~

"-ink." I stop cooking, and listen to make sure my ears weren't deceiving me. That was the Princess.

"Link... save me." Save... me?

I start to look around, realizing the Princess is no where in sight...

I start running around, looking for any sign of her, I asked around seeing if anyone knew anything. Eventually, when I came near the armor shop, I could hear a girl crying higher up.

I made my way there, and that's when I saw Paya.

"Paya!" I bend down on one knee, trying to comfort the crying girl.

"What happened? Are you ok? Where is the Princess?" I ask, looking around.

"Zirin... Zirin he... he took her, Link! You've got to save her!" She looked up at me, tears swelling up, but her determination to save her best friend was fierce.

"Which way did they go?"
.
.
.

I have to save her! She's so important to me, to all of Hyrule. But why am I so scared? I've never been so scared in my life...

I don't get it...

Why?

Why can't I focus?

It doesn't matter. I am simply her sword. I'm just here to protect her...

But... it doesn't feel that way, does it?

"Love is a fickle thing, Link. You've got to catch it when you see it."

Dad usually told me that when I asked about my mom... I don't even know what that means. Why am I even thinking about this? I need to focus!

They can't have gone far... I have to find them before they make it to the Yiga hideout.

Zelda's P.O.V~

Zirin decided he got tired of carrying me I suppose, so he stopped and grabbed a wild horse.

I am not scared.

Mainly because I know Link will be here soon, though it is annoying how tight Zirins arms are around me. What could I possibly do?

Sadly I don't have much strength, my sealing power is useless, and I don't have any weapons on me. And to top it all off, I don't know our exact location because of this black sack over my face.

"HYA!"

"What was that?" I asked. Zirin's silence and the quickening pace of the horse makes me think it's not good...

Are their two sets of hooves?

Hooves? A horse? Hya?...

"LIIINNNKK!!!" I thrash around, loosening Zirin's grip on me. I throw myself off the horse though my hands are bound by a rope, hitting the dirt ground with an oof.

"Gah!" I hurt my leg on goddess knows what in the process.

I hear Link's... hopefully... horse walk around me.

"Hand her back over to me, and we won't have to duel." Zirin threatens.

Both of the horses stop moving. Link gently helps me sit up, removing the bag on my head and the rope around my hands.

His face...

He looks so...

Angry.

"Link...?" He bends down on one knee, staring at my injured leg. He lifts his head and looks into my eyes.

"I'll never let anyone take you again." I couldn't help but feel safe... I can't help but be in love with him. I can't help but cry.

Though I was crying, I couldn't help but wrap my thin arms over his broad shoulders,

And kiss him.
