▹ He's fixed

Jimin was about to throw hands.

George had been home for two days and unlike any other time he got home, he hadn't paid a single ounce of attention towards pretty much any of his members and it was aggravating as much as it was upsetting. There was something off about George for certain, he wasn't being as clingy as he usually is and that did not sit well with Mr cuddle lover, Park Jimin.

At first the boys – of course, minus Jimin – just waved it off labelling it as him just being tired, but they soon began to worry themselves when he only gave short blunt answers and wasn't ransacking the place just to get a reaction out of someone. The most annoying human to exist was no longer annoying and shockingly, the boys hated it.

"Never thought I'd say this but I miss not having George touching my things after I've told him to keep his hands to himself with that annoying smile he does," Yoongi mumbled as he entered the room itching the back of his head.

"I told you something was wrong. He hasn't hugged me since he got back and even that hug was forced and short. I'm telling you, there's something not right and I don't like it. What does he expect me to do? Get down on my knees and cry? I have needs too! Cuddle needs!" Jimin exclaimed.

The boys rolled their eyes at Jimin's exaggeration. Hoseok pressed his lips together in a closed mouth smile and shrugged his shoulders.

"What if he's sick?" He suggested with big eyes.

"If George was sick then the whole of Korea would know about it," Jin piped up.

George is a complainer, so when he's sick he'll tell anyone and anything about it. After every sentence comes the, 'hyung I don't feel well.' Because he has to make sure you know that he isn't well because he doesn't want you forgetting, even though it's pretty much impossible to forget George, especially when he's sick.

Taehyung itched his chin and narrowed his eyes in thought as he tilted his head back slightly. The room was silent for several seconds before Taehyung's dramatic gasp cut through the room catching the eyes of all his members, he stood up.

"What if he's decided he hates us? More specifically, Jimin..." The boys rolled their eyes minus Jimin who gasped and looked up at a smirking Taehyung. When Jimin saw the look on his face, he rolled his eyes knowing Taehyung was trying to scare him.

"I will kill you Kim Taehyung."

Taehyung winked and shot a finger gun in Jimin's direction as he sat down. As the group tried to come up with possible explanations, George exited his room and headed towards the kitchen causing the conversations to cut out completely. Suspicious raised in George's mind and he stopped and eyed the boys.

"Everything okay?"

"Yep."

"Totally."

"Haha Fine."

George stared at the group for several seconds before nodding slowly. He then walked away, once out of earshot Jimin turned around to the others.

"Oh, it's even worse than we thought, he can no longer tell when we're lying."

"I can hear you Jimin," George's voice sounded from the kitchen causing Jimin to squeak and slap a hand over his mouth in surprise. He stared at the others with wide eyes, not really catching onto their bored looks.

"I—"

"My biological mum showed up at my parents place," George confesses casually as he entered the room holding a cold bottle of water. He pulled off the cap and chugged it down, blatantly ignoring the looks of disbelief from his members.

"Wait—hold on—"

"She also wants me to give her a second chance at parenting, apparently wants to get to know me," he continued and perched himself on the armrest of the sofa beside Yoongi, who showed no emotion towards the situation. 

The room was silent and the atmosphere was awkward. How the hell were they supposed to respond to that bombshell. George seemed to be kind of back to normal. Hoseok narrowed his eyes and poked his knee just to test the waters and much to his relief, George let out a high pitched yelp scaring the life out Jin.

"I think he's fixed," Jungkook stated with a nod.

George raised an eyebrow. "Since When was I broken?"

"Well, you've been broken since the day you were born because you don't function like an actual human, you're weird. Broken is normal. Shattered is not. And you have been shattered for the last two days since returning home," Jimin explained.

George shrugged. "Just needed time to process things."

"FUCK YOU PROCESSING. I have needs! Needs that you have failed to meet over the last two days!" The younger boy exclaimed, slamming his hand down against the table, giving Jin another heart attack.

Yoongi rolled his eyes as the scene unfolded before him. He was really starting to question why he decided to get out of bed that morning and why he was living with a bunch of dramatic shits.

George pouted and tilted his head to the side as he opened his arms. Jimin stayed seated for several seconds, he looked tempted but he couldn't. He wanted to give George a taste of his own medicine. Fidgeting, Jimin looked away.

George shrugged and turned to Jungkook, who accepted the hug. Pressing a kiss to his head, George made sure to let the 'Mwah' audible enough for Jimin to hear. That was the last straw. Standing up, Jimin pulled George from Jungkook and wrapped the older boy in a bear hug.

George chuckled and returned the hug, giving him a tight squeeze to apologise. When he tried to pull away to hug the others, Jimin simply hugged him tighter.

"Hello? Are we forgetting that George's biological mother literally showed up out of nowhere?" Asked Namjoon looking around with wide questioning eyes.

"George spent 9 months in a stranger's body is that not like—is that not an uncomfortable thought for you guys because I suddenly feel sick?" Taehyung stared at the table with wide, distraught eyes.

George rolled his eyes and rested his chin on top of Jimin's hair, finally deciding to accept that he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"I'll try getting along with her, but she's not my mum. My mum is Dahae and she always will be."

"Okay no, I take it back. He's not fixed. Maybe we should take him to the hospital?" Jungkook reached up to feel George's forehead.

Even Yoongi began checking him over at this point. The boys were completely baffled.

"Didn't you like... hate her a week ago?" Asked Jin with a quirked eyebrow.

George shrugged. "All she's ever done is love and raise me whilst loving my father. She accepted that he was a single dad and did her best to get along with me, she's my mum and I love her. I really do."

The boys looked at George with mixed expressions. Some baffled, some terrified and some loving.

Maybe he wasn't totally 'fixed'...but at least he was back.
