nina dobrev and ian somerhalder have been together for 3 years they met on the set of the vampire diaries ian's character damon nina character elena doppelganger of katherine pierce damon was turned by his love katherine when he died trying to save her from the moment he met elena he fell in love with her but she was with his brother stefan who was also once in love with katherine and was turned the same time as damon turned out katherine wasn't dead and the worst part was she was never in love with damon it was always gonna be stefan from first season it was obvious that damon liked elena his brother however thought he had no hummanity but little did he know his hummanity was elena  he saved her from dying several times force feeding her his blood if it meant she wouldn't die he didn't care if she hated him but then she fell in love with him too after becoming a vampire her feeling grew stronger when damon and elena finally got together nina and ian broke up her was ready to get married and she wasn't she said no the broke up later she found she was pregnant luckily she had just finished shooting  she was due early febuary luckily it was before she had to start shooting again but she heard that ian had gotten engaged she was hurt  she had her little girl emily and then they had to start shooting again and got a nanny no one except select few knew about her ian was married  she didn't tell ian it was awkward with all the delena scenes cause season four damon and elena finally got together and now he was married  and the nanny watched her then after the 6th season her baby girl was now two and she decided to leave the show 3 years later she had did a voice over in season three and was in the season finalie when elena wakes up and is reunited with damon and she also had to play katherine
she hurried back to her condo in atlanta that she used to share with ian her and her daughter lived there she heard on the news that something was going on with ian and nikki but she didn't really care she had to focus on her daughter that is all that mattered to her but she tried to avoid her daughters eyes because it made her want to cry she has ian's eyes yes she still crys at night but she tries to stay strong for her daughter as far as the world knows emily doesn't exsist and yes her name is emily somerhalder dobrev but as far as everyone knows its just emily dobrev her friends have been trying to get her to come to a tvd reunion but she kept ignoring them the select few that know of emily is pheobe candice paul and steven they are my family she  can't keep a secret from them she went on living her life  with emily meamwhile ian is having relationship problems
