Chapter 30: Meeting Cedric

I woke up, only to see Draco's empty bed.

"He didn't wake me up?!" I yelled then looked at the clock.

"I WOKE UP THAT LATE?!" I quickly went out of bed.

I wore my robe then fixed myself.

Oh I hope I don't miss breakfast

Or else that bastard's dead to me.

I went out of the Slytherin common room, running as fast as I can.

Because of my clumsiness, I bumped into someone.

I groaned in pain. Oh, Y/N. You idiot.

"I'm so sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." The boy said.

I looked at his robe. Hufflepuff.

"Don't be silly," I said. "I'm the one who
crashed into you. I should be the one to say sorry."

"Ah, a Slytherin. It's pleasure to meet you...?"

"I'm Y/N. Y/N Rosecharm." I introduced.

"Lovely name for a lovely person," he charmed.
"I'm Cedric. Cedric Diggory."

"Pleasure to meet you, Cedric." I said.

"Wait, you're the girl who's always with a blonde. What's his name? It's Malfoy, right?" He asked.

"Indeed. He left me, and- Wait, don't tell me I'm late for breakfast." I asked, panicking.

"You got a couple of minutes left, Y/N. You better hurry." He said.

"It's good to meet you, Cedric. I'll see you around." I said then waved.

He grinned then waved. "See you."

I entered the great hall then immediately went to the Slytherin table.

I sat beside Draco, who turned his head to look at me. "Oh, you're awake." He said.

"And you didn't wake me up." I said then grabbed a cereal.

"Y/N, I'm sorry. It's just, you look so peaceful. I don't want to wake you up." He said.

"That's sweet, but still." I said then shoved a spoonful of cereal in my mouth.

"Not a morning person is she?" Zabini asked.

"Yeah, so don't piss her off." Draco said.

As soon as I finished the cereal, I turned to Draco.

"I met someone," I said.

His head immediately turned to me. "Who?"

"He's-"

"He?" Draco asked.

"Yes. Let me finish. His name is Cedric
Diggory. He's a Hufflepuff." I said.

"No way. You seriously met a Hufflepuff?" He said.

"What's wrong with that? He seems sweet and nice." I said.

"What else will you expect from a Hufflepuff, Y/N?" Draco asked in a tone I don't understand.

"Draco, what's up with you? You've been acting like this since that boy winked at me yesterday. Is something wrong?" I asked.

"Y/N, he's just a jealous." Crabbe said.

"What?" I asked.

"He's-" But Crabbe was cut off by Draco glaring at him. "One word from you again, Crabbe."

I looked at the Hufflepuff table then I saw Cedric looking at me.

I waved.

He smiled then waved back.
