We were sitting in the Great Hall and Dumbledore had just told us to be on our best behaviour when the large wooden doors opened. An extremely tall woman stepped into the Great Hall, followed by a bunch of students in blue frilly dresses and odd looking hats: Beauxbatons Academy. The woman greeted Dumbledore, who looked extremely tiny next to her, as the students made their entrance. They blew kisses and looked so sickly elegant. Even though I found it rather gross, every male of Hogwarts was engulfed by the girls. I recognised a girl from the Delacour family. I'd heard they were veela's.

Angelina rolled her eyes as Lee started drooling over the Delacour girl. Fred and George weren't hiding their excitement either.

The girls made their way over to the Ravenclaw table after Dumbledore introduced them and the doors opened again. We turned our heads to see the students of Durmstrang come in. A bunch of strong looking, tough boys walked in, their steel pipes hitting the stone ground, creating sparks. They sure were a sight for sore eyes, even though the standard Durmstrang guy wasn't my type. They started running to the front of the Great Hall, some doing flips and somersaults. One student landed right in front of our little group and looked up, scanning Katie, Angelina and I who were admiring the sight. He had nicely styled, light brown hair and striking green eyes. He was muscular, yet not too much.

"Hello girls", he smiled and winked, before standing up again and following the rest of the group. the accent sure was attractive.

"I already really, really like this tournament!" Katie squealed and hit my shoulder. The boys were not amused by what had happened, but that all changed when Igor Karkaroff came in, followed by the one and only Viktor Krum. Everyone started fangirling, especially Ron, who was basically in love with him.

Once they settled down at the Slytherin table, Dumbledore did his big speech, which was rather boring. Everyone had until tomorrow at noon to put their name in the Goblet of Fire. There would be three challenges and the winner would win a thousand galleons. I couldn't help but think of Cedric. I was so happy to realise that there was an age restriction, but Cedric was already 17, meaning that he was allowed to compete. At least none of my other friends could.

On Christmas, there would be a ball for everyone in their fourth year and above: the Yule ball. I wasn't that much of a girly girl, but this made me very excited. It was like prom in the Muggle world. I couldn't help but wonder if maybe, just maybe Fred would ask me to be his date.

The atmosphere was kind of weird with the students from Durmstrang and Beauxbatons here. They were everywhere, yet nowhere at the same time. We didn't have any classes together, which I found rather odd, yet they sat with us for every meal and roamed the hallways when not in class. I was making my way over to the library when two figures popped up on either side of me.

"Homeschooled, we need your help", Fred said and I raised an eyebrow.

"You're like, very good at potions, right?" George asked and I looked at him confused.

"I don't know, I mean, I'm okay", I said suspiciously.

"Don't be humble, you're the only reason I'm passing this year", Fred said and nudged my shoulder. I blushed slightly.

"Well, we need your help with one", George said and suddenly, I was pulled into an empty classroom.

"Yeez, relax", I huffed and crossed my arms. What were these two up to?

"So, we need you to brew a mild version of Amortentia for us", George said and again, I raised an eyebrow.

"Why do you need one, and why should I help you?" I asked, not trusting those two and still being angry at Fred for tossing me in the lake.
