What would the perfect date be like for you?

Blair's POV

Day one in the Maldives was slowly coming to an end as I sat on the deck, watching the sun simmer down at the horizon. Tiredness was hovering over me after the long hours we spent on the jet.

Rubbing my shoulder, I tried to soothe the slight pain that kept on bothering me. As I was staring at the marvelous view in front of me, I couldn't help but think how I didn't want to go out to eat for dinner. I felt like my whole body was aching and sleep was just on the verge of engulfing me.

While sitting there, I heard some ruffling coming from inside so I turned to see who it was. I caught sight of Cyen making his way down the stairs.

I was taken aback as I saw him walking down in a  sleeveless shirt and a pair of shorts. Well that's a change from the usual three piece suit.

"Cyen... Come look at the sun setting," I screamed as I signaled him to come to me.

With my feet dangling off the deck, I watched as he sat close next to me. My hands were resting on the wooden deck, I felt our shoulders slightly touching as no words were exchanged.

A few minutes passed, the sun disappeared and night was quietly seeping in. I turned to see Cyen, who had his complete attention on the beauty of nature playing in front of us. That brought a smile to my face, seeing him enjoying little things like this.

Unknowingly staring at his face, my gaze fell onto his hypnotizing emerald eyes. Oh those precious eyes. There were the beautiful hues of the forest with the darker rim all around. I could see the faint glimmer in his eyes.

"What are you looking at," he said as he flicked my nose.

"Oh nothing, there is just a pimple on your forehead," I said as I looked away quickly.

"As if, I have the smoothest face you have ever seen," he said as he cupped his face.

I couldn't help but chuckle as I saw him stroking his face.

"Oh yea so smooooooth," I said as I grab his cheeks and started squeezing them.

"Oh yea so smooooooth," Cyen repeated after as his palms reached my cheeks and he squished my face.

I was trying to laugh but his hands were preventing from moving my face at all.

As he finally let go, I glared at him before bursting into laughter.  He quickly joined me and started laughing as he laid onto the deck.

At this moment, I started to think how perfect this little moment was. I couldn't help the feeling of my heart beating violently as I looked at him laying there.

Noticing that I started to breath heavily, I turned to look at the sea in front of me. I slowly brought my right hand to my chest, feeling each and every beat.

Trying to think about other things, I noticed the silence building between us. It was the kind of silence that didn't seem awkward but just a somewhat comfort.

"Blair," Cyen said, grabbing my attention.

Looking at him, I saw his right hand reach up to my face, holding me in place. Our gaze then met as I saw him looking back at me. Feeling his thumb stroking my cheek, I instinctively leaned into his hand as my eyes closed.

Realizing what I was doing, I quickly opened my eyes to see him leaning in a little closer. At this exact moment, I couldn't fight the thoughts that started engulfing my mind. His scent was lingering at my nose, not helping the situation at all.
