My Black bird

A/N: This is a short boi, but a sweet one. The song is Black bird by the Beatles. Enjoy :))

All the avengers are watching a movie. The rogues moved in a week ago, and still don't know exactly what Tony and Peters relationship is like. Enjoy :))

It was late and Peter was falling asleep slowly as he sat next to Tony and Pepper watching the movie. He had picked lilo and stitch because why not.

He was trying to stay awake because they were just getting to the good part, but his eyes felt so heavy.

He slumped over onto Tony falling asleep. He sleepily said, "Dad 'm tired." The team looked over at Peter and Tony. Had Peter just said dad?! Tony didn't seemed dazed, he just smiled and combed his hand through Peters golden curls.

"That mean you want the song?" Tony asked smiling, forgetting about the avengers in the room. Pepper, also didn't seem fazed about any of this, while the team was in shock. What was going on?

"Mmhmm." Peter said sleepily.

Tony smiled and softly sang, " Black bird singing in the dead of night. Take these broken wings and learn to fly."

"All your life, you were only waiting for this moment to arise."

Peter sighed contently, and leaned into Tony.

"Black bird singing in the dead of night, take these sunken eyes, and learn to see. All your life you were only waiting for this moment to be free."

"Black bird singing in the dead of night. Take these broken wings and learn to fly."

Peter softly joined in, "All your life you were only waiting for this moment to arise."

Then Peter closed his eyes, as Tony softly hummed the song, being gently rocked back and fourth in Tony's arms.

Eventually Peters breath became soft and even and Tony slowly stopped humming. All the rogues hearts melted.

Tony picked Peter up and carried him to his room, being as gentle as possible. He motioned for someone to open Peters door for him and they all got up, eager to help.

Steve got the door and Tony walked into the room, followed by Pepper.

Tony set Peter down and  Pepper whispered, "Goodnight my uccello nero."

Peter didn't open his eyes, but he slightly moved and said, "Nnh, stay."

Pepper smiled, and her and Tony lay back down on the bed holding Peter close.

The rest of the team shut the door and left them, hearts completely melted.
