Reading List Marathon

The title sounds somewhat strange, doesn't it? Well, this is the exact reason we're going to be super elaborative about it.

As you all are aware, we feature your short stories in our reading lists to promote them in the Wattpad community. This time, we've decided to take a step further by engaging people with our reading lists by including them in our contests.

We're starting a whole series of fortnightly contests revolving around our reading lists and we choose to call it a 'Reading List Marathon'. It sounds like you're going on a reading marathon but that's not it. The real thing is that this name sounds really cool to us so we decided to go with it. 😅

What is this about?

This is about a series of contests that go live for 4 months i.e Sept-Dec 2019 and this is how it works:

● Each month, participants choose one of the titles of the books added in a given reading list to name their story which they will write in the genre of the reading list paired with it for 15 days and vice versa for the other 15 days. For example, you will write a realistic fiction with a title that you will borrow from one of the books added to Phantasm and Sorcery reading list for first 15 days and then write a fantasy/paranormal story with a title that you will borrow from one of the books added to Realistic Fiction reading list for the last 15 days of the month.

● These pairs of reading lists will be used:
> September - Realistic Fiction/ Phantasm and Sorcery
> October - Love Diaries/ Spine Tinglers
> November - Another Time, Another Place/ Tissues Advised
> December - Strugglers/ Boxed Sets

● Each contest will be held for 15 days.

● Each pair will go live for one month only.

● The title of your story must be the same as the book you've chosen.

● Participation in all the 8 contests is not necessary. However, it is encouraged as the participants who write short stories for all 8 contests will be given participation stickers.

● Exclusive prizes will be shared with the winners.
