GEMINI LAY HER head on Bucky's lap as she typed on her laptop. Bucky flicked through the channels on the TV, trying to find something to watch. He didn't mind the younger girl laying on him, he found it surprisingly comfortable. He glanced over to Gemini's computer to see her writing something on an email.

"What're you doing?" He asked curiously. Gemini brought her eyes away from the screen to look up at him.

"Emailing my cousin." She answered simply.

"On which side?" He was curious. He wasn't just asking because he was nosy. He was, but, he was genuinely curious. Gemini didn't talk about her family very much beside her siblings, she barely talked about her parents - he did understand the circumstances though.

"My dad's side. I don't talk to a lot of my mom's side unless I have to. I talk to about...three maybe four and that side's huge." She explained. Bucky nodded, listening to every word.

"What's up with her?" She stared at him confused. "You're button smashing your keyboard, like you're ranting. What's happened?"

She sat up to look at him properly. "You're a smart ass." Bucky chuckled at her observation. "She's just going through some shit, family and school. Her parents are getting divorced and are fighting over custody of her and her siblings. School is just not helping her stress, so she's freaking out about everything. Also, kids are assholes and are singling her out for being different." She began to rant. "Racist little bullying assholes."

Bucky sighed pulling Gemini into him by her shoulders. "Kids in general are just assholes. Before Steve was, well, in Tony's words Capsicle." Gemini snorted at this. "Steve was bullied for being skinny and weak. I had to defend him." Gemini smiled.

"You were best friends on both schoolyard and battlefield." Bucky looked at her unamused but with a smirk. She shrugged. "I went to the Smithsonian a lot." She added quickly. Bucky smirked.

"You're a dork." Gemini nodded in agreement. "What's your cousin's name?"

"Cyndie. She really wants to come visit but she's only around fourteen, which is what I don't get. I went to Wisconsin to visit my uncle, alone when I was ten." Bucky stared at her confused. "I hadn't seen him in a few years so I chose to go on the adventure."

Bucky chuckled. "Did you like giving your parents a heart attack?" Gemini laughed.

"I didn't, my dad knew I was going for a week. He knew I was close to that uncle and those cousins in particular." He smirked at her response.

"I'll leave you to it then." She smirked before lying back down.

Shortly after finishing the email, Tony walked in like a man on a mission. "Gemini Destiny Braddock, where in the hell is your phone?" He asked angrily. Gemini looked up from the screen again to look at the frustrated man.
