3rd person POV

The next day, Taehyung decided to spend time with his parents. Its been a while since he visited them and his parents doesnt mind having him around. Taehyung spend the day talking with his Appa, joking around with his mother and in the afternoon, he helped her with her garden outside.

Taehyung likes gardening, it helps his mind to forget a certain person that seems to always occupy his mind. He's pulling out the grass and hum. He seems like having a good time, and he look better that when he was dropped to his parents house yesterday. His mother glance and unintentionally, she smiles at the change of mood from her son. So she takes this chance.

"Baby, you seems good. You're finally okay?" His mother asked, her hands fixing the soil on one of her flower pot.

"Hmm im alright" he answer.

"I like this. Smiling looks good on you. You should do it more often" she continues.

"I'll try. I mean im still broken up about me and Jungkook but this is what i've decided, and im doing this for him so i just have to go through with it. He'll be okay" he said.

"Give me some time, then i'll be alright too" he continued.

It looks like he has accepted the fact that he and Jungkook isn't meant to be.

"You dont know that he's doing okay. What if he's actually crying alone right now?" His mother test him. Taehyung glance to his mother for a second then look away. "Yeah right, crying. He nailed the presentation. That uncle, whats-his-name from M company was very impressed. Appa told me. Omma, he's unaffected, with or without me." Taehyung replied. Honestly, he doesn't want to think like that.

Jungkook is fine without him, if there's anyone who tells him otherwise, he's afraid that he'll waver. He's scared that he might run back home, to Jungkook.

"Emmm, something tells me he's very much affected....it was someone actually" His mother mumble but Taehyung still catch everything. But he tries to understand what she means but he doesn't have any clue.

"Son, are you going back to Jimin today?" His father, out of nowhere, suddenly pops out, scaring the shit out of Taehyung and his mother. Taehyung accidentally shouted a little too loud and his mother was holding some soil, it flew to her face and hair. Some even flew to Taehyung. His father, looks at both Taehyung and his mother with 'what are you guys doing' kind of look and both Taehyung and his mother just laughed, finding the situation funny.

"Yes appa, im going back but i'll promise i'll visit you guys more often" Taehyung said, wiping his tears. He was laughing too hard that he cried. He even shake his head to remove the soil that flew to his hair.

"AH! Tell that shorty to come by for dinner tonight. Tell him to bring that special 'someone' too, oh and baby Taetae, tell him i wont take no for an answer. " His mother speaks up. She gives a smile. Taehyung suddenly freeze. The thought of his mother finding out that Jimin's special someone turns out to be a guy and a savage one at that, makes him worry because seriously, Yoongi is scary. But his mother is scarier so he just said okay and went inside to call Jimin.

"Hello? Taehyung? Is everything okay?" Jimin answer his call in less than 5 seconds. Taehyung is impressed.

"Its bad, Jimin-ah" he said, his purposely made his voice sounded sad and in distressed.

"Why why why? What's wrong? Do you want me to come and get you? Where are you now??" Jimin sounded concerned.

"Yes you have to come and get me, and you have to bring Yoongi hyung with you. Because omma is inviting you both to dinner and she wont take no for an answer" Taehyung said. Jimin yelled on the other line saying 'yaaaaaa Kim Taehyung!!' and Taehyung just laughed.

Af first Jimin was reluctant but after much persuasion he finally agrees. Now the problem is convincing Yoongi because god knows, he's a lazy guy. Jimin is glad that Taehyung sounded okay. Going back to his parents and telling them seems like a right choice. Jimin may leave Taehyung in the past, alone but now he wont leave Taehyung again, ever. He was weak and hurt, seeing Taehyung happy with Jungkook, not knowing about his feelings, it hurts. But he's different now, he's older and stronger, and he has Yoongi now.

Taehyung then went to his room to wash up and start packing some stuff, just few and minimun but essential for his daily lives. He's excited thinking about going back to Jimin's place that he was humming and singing. Its was weird, even Taehyung himself cant explain it. Jimin was his best friend, they've been together since they were little, but all of the sudden, right after high school Jimin disappeared without a trace. There was no way for Taehyung to contact him and even Jimin's parents said he moved out and they havent heard from him since. He tried calling and texting but there was no use. Jimin was a ghost. But now, he appeared, out of the blue, 7 years later. Still the same Jimin, bubbly and lovable, still there for him.

And also, there's Yoongi, at first he didnt like Yoongi because he seemed expressionless and scary and he just cant imagine Jimin being Jimin, is dating someone like Yoongi but after spending 3 days in their house, he realize, Yoongi is actually a very warm and caring person. He may give you rude comment but he actually mean well. And Taehyung also like to bicker with Yoongi, its his new favourite thing to do. Of course they only bicker about some childish stuff like, what should they eat for dinner or who's turn to do laundry. But mostly they were fighting about Jimin.

The sound of someone knocking on his door made his head turn, after telling the person to come in, his bedroom door swing open, revealing his already well dressed mother. Taehyung chuckled at the thought of his mother is so dressed up just to have dinner with Jimin and Yoongi.

His mother look at his son, humming and singing while packing his stuff, he does seems much better that when he came yesterday. But she still haven't got the chance to talk, properly talk to Taehyung about his matter with Jungkook. And also she wants to talk about Taehyung's insecurity. She doesn't understand why Taehyung feel insecure, or some what feel small compare to the girl that he tells her about, in her eyes Taehyung is perfect. She is not saying this because she's his mother, but because really, Taehyung is beautiful, and Taehyung doesn't like exposing himself as Kim Minji and Park Taehee's son, he doesn't like attention because he always think of himself as ugly or not worthy of the attention. So even to her fellow celebrity and model friends, only a few, very few people know Taehyung.

That is part of the reason why he wanted to keep his marriage with Jungkook low-key as possible. One, he is scared that his marriage will effect his parents image, and also, Jungkook's image. At the time he thought since Jungkook will be the CEO in his father's company, he doesn't want his image to be affected too.

Kim Taehyung really likes privacy and dont like attention and exposure. How she wish he can see how beautiful he truly is, how perfect he is, that he has nothing to be insecure about. She wish that her son could be more confident about himself.

She approach him and sat on his bed. "Eager to leave your parents, are we?" She asked.

"Noo omma, i promise i'll come visit you and appa often. Promise" he said to his mother, making a cute gesture to melt his mother's heart. Seriously, isn't he just the cutest? "Then take your car with you. So you can't use 'Jimin is busy to drive me' or 'Jimin cant drop me' excuse" she said.

Taehyung paused. Before, he never had any reason to bring his car, i mean, Jungkook is always there to drive him if he wanted to go anywhere. Guess now he has to drive himself to places. He didn't want to burden Jimin anymore than he already is. So he decided to said yes.

Somehow, the pain is less unbearable now. The pain was only too much when he, Taehyung, keep it bottled in. Right after telling his mother how he really feels, all of the sudden he feel light. Like, the weight of the world was lifted off his shoulder. Maybe he feels refreshed, or maybe he's already used to the pain of missing Jungkook so much, or maybe he's decided that Lisa is the one for Jungkook and accepted the fact.

It may be one of the above, or maybe its all of the above, he simply doesn't care. For the first time, he doesn't care about anything and everything.. He don't want to know how Jungkook is doing, or is he with Lisa. He also doesnt want to know if he's crying or laughing at the moment, happy or sad. He also don't care if there is some sort of explanation for Jungkook's behavior. Now, he want to put himself first, he want to be selfish, and for that reason, finally, after days without Jungkook by his side, he feels...
