My faithful servant's reward from Me, if I have taken to Me his
best friend from amongst the inhabitants of the world and he has then borne it patiently for My sake, shall be nothing less than Paradise.

She was wondering how life as changed in a week now she is married to man that is unknown to her but had heard enough from his uncle javeed who was her mentor and inspiration. He is not alive anymore but his advices and lessons are imprinted in her mind fresh. She was lost in her thoughts sitting in her husbands room. Sitting on bed from 1 hour in same position waiting for him while glancing around her eyes stuck at stars twinkle in dark night deciding to see view clearly she leaves the bed and sat on couch in front of the glass door separating balcony from room. She remembered her childhood where she used to sit on swing at midnight hiding from her mom just to see shining moon and twinkling stars now only difference is she has no one to stop her or give her hot chocolate in morning when she catch cold for sneaking in night. She is alone now. Today she missed her mom way too much not only her sweet talk  but also her scolding and every thing her mom used to say about marriage. Today after nikah she thanked Taya abbu for doing ritual as father but again he made her realise that she is only an unwanted member in family and only because of dadu everyone is participating in this function. He wanted her to leave like her father did and asked her to never ruin this marriage. She can't understand why do people judge her for his fathers mistakes to avoid all this she have stayed far from them now again she have do same thing. She just hope that her wedding doesn't turned disaster like her mother's. She wanted to know his soulmate at be with him at any cost. She didn't heard the opening of door and his footsteps towards her.

He convinced himself that voice was his imagination and controlled his mind roaming around till night. He got call from his mom but didn't picked it up. When he entered house it was completely silent it meant his family have slept. He hoped that his bride also slept because he don't want to confront her. He opened his room door praying for guidance of his heart which start beating rapidly at that voice. He saw his wife sitting  lost in gazing sky to get her attention he cleared his throat but she didn't turned. He thought to go near her but did something different he went to door opened it and closed with loud thud she flinched at sudden voice but didn't turned.

"Assalamualaikum" she said with her sweet voice that made him smile

"Wa alaikumassalam. Why are you awake you should go to sleep its already late" he said to end any chance of conversation not wanting to dwell in that voice.

"Did you came late so that you can avoid me" she said suprising him with her straight forward question

"No its not like that I was just trying to accept the fact that I'm married" he said not wanting to make any mistake

"Did you succeed in accepting this marriage after seeing me waiting" she said

"Of course I did way before seeing you. If I have not accepted it then surely my reaching home was impossible" he said clearing his intentions

"Okay won't you sit or you want to stand whole time" she said getting relief from his words. He sat after that on bed. She expected him to sit beside her but he sat behind her silently like a obedient student she chuckles at her own thoughts. He hear her chuckle it was soft and melodic maybe he started assuming her as his smarty but he refrain his mind to lingering on it.

"Why are you chuckling is it some inside joke" he asked her bending keeping his elbow on knee and holding his chin in hand

"No their is nothing funny but your too obedient to sit without any argument or comment like this is my room I can do whatever I want. Don't get me wrong but people may think your whipped" she said doing hand motions. He grinned listening her words gazing her back and hand moments she have done

"I may or may not be whipped but this is 'our room' not mine alone he said to which she nods her head and smiles

"Why didn't you switch on the lights when you entered its so dark you may have tripped in way to bed" she said voicing her concerns

"I liked this candles light and the sky outside is looking beautiful in such light beside I know every corner of room so I won't trip" he said to her and took out something from side drawer and placed near her on couch then sat on bed.

"What is it for" she said looking at gift caressing the cravings on box it looked antique piece

"Its your wedding gift. I'm not good at shopping but I saw it in mall when shopping with mom so decided to get it" he said actually on seeing this gift he remembered smarty and bought it but now giving it to his wife doesn't feel wrong well because he prefers her more than a stranger he never meet

"JazakiAllah khair it's beautiful you have good choice. I wonder if I'm your choice or not" she said her mind which bugged her continuously about forced marriage to him

"You may not be my choice but your choice of the best. I mean my mom and her every choice becomes my choice it takes time sometimes but eventually it happens" he said answering her concerns with smile. She sigh in satisfaction and mumble Alhamdulilah before she can say anything else his voice came

"We should sleep now tomorrow is going to be long day and also wake me up fajr as now your my wife" he said lying on bed as he removed his sherwani already and was having simple kurta on.

"I can't sleep in this clothes i will get changed. Sweet dreams dear husband" she said moving to closet all the way picking her lengha slightly. He smile keeping his hand on eyes and slept. He can feel her blowing candle near side table some of her hair brush his hand but he feels her bend to correct his pillow then sleep on her side. He opened his sleepy eyes to see her only her back was in view and she is completely covered in duvet so he sleeps facing her back with hand under head.

Hadith of the day

The Messenger of Allah said to his uncle (at the time of his death): Make a profession of it that there is no god but Allah and I will bear testimony (of your being a Muslim) on the Day of
Judgment.
He (AbuTalib) said: Were it not the fear of the Quraysh blaming me (and ) saying that it was the fear of (approaching
death) that induced me to do so, I would have certainly delighted
your eyes. It was then that Allah revealed: Verily thou can not
guide to the right path whom thou lovest. And it is Allah Who guideth whom He will and He knoweth best who are the guided.
[Sahih Muslim]
