Falling into a void of Happiness

~ Chapter 2 ~ Part 1

8:00 am

Rei rolls over and groans cutting her alarm on her phone off. After several minutes of just laying in bed and staring at the ceiling she hops up from her bed and walks to her connecting bathroom to shower.

20 minutes later

After about 20 minutes Rei emerges from her warm shower and walks into her room to start getting ready. She sits at her vanity brushing through her long dual colored hair parting it and putting two buns on top while letting the rest flow down. She then applies very minimal make up and goes to put her clothes on. She picks up the Red skater skater dress she purchased the previous day and then dug into her closet for black wedges to pair with her dress. When she was finished getting ready she takes a final look in the mirror and grabbing her scarf before skipping downstairs to help her parents prep for the party.

Backyard
9:00am

Rei: GOOOOOOOOD MORNING!! My lovely fathers!

Aizawa: Ugh Rei it's to early to be that loud.

Rei: Well I gotta keep ya on your toes dad, anyways what can I help with?

Hizashi: Not to much just need the music equipment brought out from the music room and set up out here and then the paper laterns that you begged for put up in the trees.

Rei: I'm on it the twins and Ryos should be over soon they said they'd come early to help out and we can set up the equipment in the mean time I'll put those lanterns up.

Rei kicked of her wedges and filled a basket with the lanterns she then tied her scarf to her torso and the basket and began climbing up into the trees to place them.

Aizawa: Rei get down you have a dress on you could have just used a latter! -he said sternly-

Rei: AWWW c'mon where would the fun in that be and I'm wearing shorts underneath it's not a big deal.

Once Rei placed all the laterns she gently climbed down from the tree placing her shoes back on and headed inside to the music room to start gathering equipment together until she heard the doorbell ringing walking to the living room to answer it. There stood Ryos and the twins.

Rei: Hey guys!

Kikyo/Kyoko: Hii!

Ryos: Sup.

Rei: I need help moving equipment from the music room to the back yard.

Ryos: On it!

Ryos heads to the music room and start carrying items from there to the back yard as the girls set up and chat.

Kikyo: So any word on if Eri and Shinsou are gonna make it?

Rei: -sighs- Yea I talked to them last night sadly they won't be able to.

Kyoko: Oh I'm so sorry Rei.

Rei: Don't worry it'll be ok.

Rei, Ryos, and the twins finished helping Aizawa and Mic prep for the party and setting up the music Mic was in charge of the music while Aizawa was in charge of grilling due to the fact the Mic had a tendency to be a little clumsy. Not to long after the twins and Ryos came over their parents followed suit. It was closing in on 10 and guest would be arriving soon.

Aizawa: Ugh where is your mother she should be here by now.

Just as Rei was about to respond there was a knock at the door.
