NGL's Secret

Kite, [Name], Gon, and Killua have advanced deep within NGL, in search of the Chimera Ant nest, and have arrived at a cliff with peculiar openings.

"This is the Chimera Ant nest?" Gon asked.

"No. They don't make their nests in holes. They use mud and feces to build them." Kite replied.

After a good minute of silence, Kite took a step forward and said, "Let's go. You'll understand once we're inside."

Once the group were inside, they would look side to side, being cautious.

"There's no telling when or from where they will attack. Be on your guard." Kite warned the teens behind him.

"Yeah, got it. That other Chimera Ant completely concealed his presence." Killua said, making Gon agree.

Going further into the tunnel, they stopped walking once they saw mechanical things.

"Is this place..." Gon trailed off, looking at the place.

"Yes, it is NGL's hidden side." Kite said, knowing what Gon was about to say.

"A drug factory." Killua commented.

"Exactly. This factory produces the ingestible drug D², which is spreading throughout the mainland. There are probably nearby bila trees, which produce its main ingredient. Ironic given their claims as preservationists." Kite explained and [Name] played her necklace.

Killua looked at her at the corner of his eyes and frowned a bit, 'Ever since we buried her friend, she's been quiet. It's weird not hearing her voice... I want her to talk...'

Killua looked inside a crate, "They're making more than drugs. Look. It's the same as the others." The assassin said, showing the gun and throwing it back into the crate.

"I assume that only the NGL leaders know the truth of this place. The other members joined because they honestly loved nature." Said Kite.

"So this facility is the center of NGL's underground. If it's empty..." Killua trailed off.

"Then Chimera Ants have wiped out the NGL underground. And a bunch of amateurs with guns won't suffice to deal with them." Kite completed Killua's sentence.

"What about their boss?" Gon asked which made Kite shrug.

"He either escaped or was eaten. Either way, it's bad news."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Gon asked.

"Kite-sensei..." [Name] trailed off which made Kite looked at the tunnel in front of them, knowing what his student meant.

"A few are around." Kite said which made Gon and Killua up in their guard, "Let's go."

They walked through the tunnel and once they exited, they saw three more tunnel up ahead.

"They're slowly approaching through the middle tunnel. There are more in the left and right tunnels." Kite said.

'En...' Killua thought, looked up at Kite and asked him, "How far away can you search?"

"Everything within a 45 meter radius. Depending on physical and mental condition, I can increase that by a few meters." He replied and Gon smiled at him and then got serious when Kite told them that they were coming closer.

A man- No, two males appeared out the tunnel being chained with a collar on their necks and... They were naked. The one holding the collar was a Chimera Ant. It's appearance on the front half is of a muscular man, while his other half is that of a horse. He has spiky blue hair, red eyes, and a serpentine tongue.
