He loudly yawned, a hand covering his mouth while stretching and groaning in relief as he finally settled down on his bed and pulled the comforts of his comforter to his chest, humming.

Nearing his most awaited slumber of the day, lying on the bed that he oh-so dearly missed, his phone decided to ruin his moment and rang loud, ripping into his eardrums and he immediately sat up, taking it.

He did not remember ever setting his phone's alarm, so why was it ringing?

When he turned to look at his phone screen, the sleep he felt earlier dissipated and he answered the call in a heartbeat.

"Hey, babe. What's up?"

"Sorry, were you sleeping?"

Soonyoung scrunched his nose while furrowing his eyebrows, reminding himself of his previous actions.

"Hm? No, not at all."

Jihoon chuckled on the other line. "You were sleeping, weren't you?"

Soonyoung sulked. "Yeah, I was. But I don't mind it being interrupted as long as it's you." Soonyoung smiled to himself at his cheesy words.

A loud squeal was heard from the other line and came after was intense hushing which confounded Soonyoung.

"Who are you with, Ji?" he asked suspiciously, frowning in doubt of his thought of Jihoon being unfaithful.

Jihoon huffed. "Don't assume so quickly, idiot." Jihoon chuckled but it only made Soonyoung's frown deeper.

"Will you be kind enough to open us up, Youngie? It's cold outside." the squeals intensified but Soonyoung could not hear them as he was too busy trying to decipher what Jihoon had just said.

Open them up. Outside.

Outside... they're outside, for god's sake!

Bolting out of his bed faster than when he was running late to school, he sprinted out of his room and across the hallway, where he almost bumped into his mother who was just finishing up her little movie marathon.

"Youngie-ah? What's with the rush? Is something the matter?" his mother asked in apprehension, holding his arm to prevent him from running away any further.

"Everything's fine, Eomma! Just that..." he glanced over the front door, antsy to what lies behind that door. Mrs. Kwon seems to understand immediately to what he unable to voice out and chuckled.

"Okay, okay, Young. Have fun now, okay? Are you going to have a sl—" but Soonyoung was gone before she could even finish her question as soon as she loosened her grip on his arm.

Soonyoung swung the door open and met up with a smiling Jihoon behind it.

"Ji!" he exclaimed, his grin spreading across his face.

"Soon." Jihoon chuckled as Soonyoung cupped his face into his hands.

"Seok." They whipped their heads towards Seokmin who was behind Jihoon. He arched his eyebrows.

"What? You guys said your names. I just wanted to join in." Jeonghan rolled his eyes at Seokmin's tendency of being oblivious to certain moments. Jisoo only giggled and pecked his soulmate on the cheek.

Soonyoung furrowed his eyebrows as not only Jihoon, but the rest of his friends were standing in his doorstep.

"What are you guys doing here? What's the occasion?"
