"Busog kana ba?" nabigla ako nang tanungin ako ni Joseph

"Uhm, yes.. busog pa din ako doon sa coffee natin kanina" sagot ko naman at nginitian ito.

Itong si Mari naman ay nakikipag-kwentuhan kay Laurence.

"Ilang taon ang pagitan ninyo ng ate mo?" Tanong ni Mari.

Hindi naman ako slow para hindi ko maramdaman na may kinalaman si Levie doon sa tinutukoy na babae ni Mari noon sa Cebu. Nabanggit kasi nito kanina na doon pala siya sa hotel nila Mari naka-check in which is ang hotel kung saan din kami nagsa-stay.

Kalahating oras na magsimula noong nakaalis ito kasama si Bridgette. Yep, Bridgette Yuzon-Alcantara. Nagulat pa ito noong nakita niya ako nang ipakilala siya saamin ng ate ni Laurence. I know she was caught off-guard dahil hindi niya ako kaagad nakilala because of my blonde hair. pero nagbago din ang expression niya after. Nag-shake hands lang kami na parang ngayon lang kami nagkakilala. After noon ay hindi na muli pang dumapo ang mga mata niya saakin.

"I'm 32 and she's 41" ngiti nito.

"Kayo lang dalawa ang magkapatid?" tanong ulit ni Mari.

"Yep. Tho hindi na siya gaano umuuwi dito sa Pinas and she stayed in Europe kasi lumalaki na ang clothing line niya. She owns the signature LR by the way"

Hindi agad nakakibo si Mari at tila may iniisip. "I don't want to be nosy pero close pala sila ni Cong. Alcantara?"

"Yes. I actually don't know the story between them kasi they are not batchmates e. I never confirmed it pero I think they have a thing going on..? As you can see, walang straight sa aming mag-kapatid" at natawa ito at nakisabay naman si Mari at pasimpleng tumingin saakin.

Ah, kaya pala lover ang tawag. Pero diba asawa na niya si Lauren King? May anak pa nga sila e. Wow, dipa din talaga siya nagbabago. May reserba parin talaga.

We ended the night early and nagkayayaan nalang na magkita-kita ulit bukas tutal its friday tomorrow.

We thanked the couple for the great night and for the delicious food.

ONE WEEK AFTER.

"Good Morning, Sikolohistas!" pagbati ng dalawang emcee na nagfa-facilitate ng Psychology Convention dito sa isang tanyag na Unibersidad sa bansa. "Alam ko ito na ang pinakahinihintay ng lahat at hindi kona patatagalin pa. Folks, let us give a hand to our very special and last speaker for this event.. She finished Bachelor of Science in Psychology here in the Philippines with flying colors, finished her Masters Degree in New York, Top Notcher for both Psychometrician and Psychologist Board Examination.. the pride of the Philippines.. Miss Chelsea Jane Watson"

"Thank you & Good Morning.."

I can say na the event went well, madami akong nakilala, may mga estudyante din na nag-reach out to interview me for their researches or for their organizations.

"Hi"

I was getting some drink from the buffet dito sa hall when a beautiful lady approached me.

"Hey" bati ko naman dito. I can recall her face, kanina kopa siya nakikita. I think she's one of the committees for the convention.

"I'm Kat. Katrine Tuazon. Head of this year's convention" and she offered for a shake hands which I obliged.

"Hello, nice to meet you" I smiled. "I'm Chelsea"

"How's the event so far?" tanong nito at kumuha rin ng drinks niya. Lunch time palang naman and today is the last day for the convention. Natapos na lahat ng activities for the past 2 days and the last day is just for us to connect with one another. Actually I can go naman since I'm done giving my speech and discussing few things about my success in this field pero I chose to stay.
