Dinah was the first to show up and enter the labels personal jet. She put her luggage away and situated herself comfortably on the jet.

"Can I get you anything to eat or drink Ms. Hansen," the jet staff asked her.

"Oh, no thank you," she said as she faced the employee and then went back to browsing through her phone.

Once things started to get repetitive on her socials she put her phone away and stared out the window. She wasn't usually this early for things, in fact she was always late, but this time she didn't want to show up after Lauren and be intimidated by her glare. There was another reason too but no one needed to know about that. Lauren did eventually show up, much to Dinah's surprise. When 15 minutes passed from the time they were supposed meet, Dinah was sure she was just getting a free vacation since the Cuban seemed to not want to show up. Yet she did. She did just as Dinah did and put her luggage away and got comfortable in the only other seat available, across from Dinah. Lauren exchanged glances with the younger girl before she put in her airpods. She tried connecting her phone to the in-flight wifi but found it impossible. That meant by the time they were up in the air she wouldn't have a way to drown Dinah out.

Lauren turned off her airpods and faced Dinah, "Did you now they turned off the wifi?"

"No, but I figured they would. It's a very Simon thing to do at this point," Dinah shrugged as they started to roll down the runway.

"And you couldn't tell me before I put my  airpods in?" She sassed.

Dinah glared, "Would you  have listened to me?"

Lauren rolled her eyes, "Whatever."

"I didn't even know for sure Jauregui, I never tried to connect. I just assumed," Dinah told her, "Not that I should have to explain anything to you."

"Or you could just not make me embarrass myself all the time," Lauren snapped.

"They're just airpods Lauren. I've never embarrassed you. If you're referring to the time I stole your song that I was already planning on singing and rehearsed with for days anyways without knowing anyone else was singing it. It never happened. I didn't embarrass you or cause you to embarrass yourself. You blew that song out of the water, and continued on in the competition. Which makes me question again, why you hate me?" Dinah said in one last outburst before the plane lifted off from the ground, "Shit," she muttered under her breath as she clung to the arm rests after her brief rant.

"What the fuck," Lauren said eyeing Dinah suspiciously, "Are you scared of flying."

"Shut up Lauren," she spat as she shut her eyes tightly.

Lauren rolled her eyes, "It was just a question."

Dinah groaned as she continued to grasp the arm rests and close her eyes until she felt comfortable enough in her seat to relax again. She looked at Lauren actually sorry for snapping at her, she kinda felt bad for doing but ONLY because she did not mean to do it. It simply came out because she was in fact scared and her mouth went into flight or fight mode.

"Hey, sorry about that. I don't do very well on planes," she admitted.

Lauren's eyes shifted to the younger woman, "You're apologizing to me? Never thought that would happen."

Dinah rolled her eyes, "Only because if I ever insult you I want it to be because I want to not because some phobia made me unconsciously do it."

"So you are scared of flying," Lauren said with a smirk, "Do tell."

"Why do you want to know?"

"Keep your friends close and your enemies closer am I right," the Cuban pointed out.

"If I tell you, then you gotta tell me something," Dinah proposed.

"Ok then," Lauren said with a smile as she crossed her legs and leaned back in her seat, "Deal. You first."

Dinah sighed in defeat, "I've never liked planes. It makes no sense to me how big huge hunking pieces of metal are able to soar through the sky with ease. Every lift off and landing my stomach churns and my head feels like a smoothie gone bad. In those few seconds I can not think properly as my senses and fears take over. Even after 7 years of travelling the world, it hasn't changed."

"Well that certainly makes having a job like ours much more difficult doesn't it," Lauren said with a slight chuckle.

"You could say that. Hopefully you'll never have to see me with turbulence cuz that's a whole other story," Dinah quipped, "Now what about you Lauren. What is it you will be telling me."

"I've got something in mind but I don't believe I'll be sharing it today," Lauren said with a smirk as she picked up a magazine that was on the counter beside them.

Dinah narrowed her eyes, "We had a deal Lauren."

Her green eyes continued to scan the pages of the magazine, "But I never said when. Could be 5 seconds from now, 5 minutes, 5 hours, 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 months, 5 years, 5 decades, 5 centuries, 5 millennia even. I wouldn't count on any of the closer dates tho," she smirked.

Dinah rolled her eyes and left her seat.

"And where are you going Hansen," Lauren said still not allowing her eyes to leave the page.

"Anywhere you aren't," the Polynesian spat before joining the jet staff in their office type area, "Tae."

"Whatever pendeja," Lauren huffed as she continued to scan through the magazine.

It was truly gonna be a long week for the two girls and an even longer TV season.
