The Battle

---- Hoody's POV ----

A few moments of staring, One-Eyed finally made a move and charged at us. He was too fast for the eye can see so there was no way I could block it. But Masky did! He swung his fist at him hitting him straight on the forehead. One-Eyed jumped back rubbing his forehead in pain. Masky chuckled and charged at One-Eyed this time. But One-Eyed recovered fast and charged at him as well ready to stab him with his sword. As he swung his sword, Masky ducked and tried to kick One-Eyed's legs but failed when One-Eyed jumped and kicked Masky in the face instead. Masky did a backflip and wiped the blood coming out of his mouth. This time, I joined the battle. Masky charged at him again while I snuck behind One-Eyed. As Masky threw fast and powerful punches at One-Eyed, I jumped behind One-Eyed and kicked him but One-Eyed saw it coming and took my leg throwing back to the ground. And while Masky was distracted by me, One-Eyed took Masky by the neck and threw him on the ground as well.

"Urgh! There's no end to this guy...!" Masky panted while shakily standing up.

"How are we supposed to beat him?" I asked coughing a bit.

"He is strong at night. He can't go out during the day. But I don't think we can survive if we wait for that." Hey frowned.

"Damn!" I cursed and stood up.

"But we're not giving up! This time, let's get him all together." He smirked.

"Right." I smirked with him.

"Are you done planning yet? Nothing is going to work anyway..." One-Eyed taunted.

"Shut up! We're gonna get you!" I yelled as I charged at him.

He smirked a little and did the same. I raised my fist ready to punch him but he suddenly grabbed me by the neck choking the life out of me.

"Die..." He glared.

But not until Masky came behind him and stabbed his neck with his knife straight through. His grasp getting loose as he lets me go and falling to the ground. I fell on my hands and knees trying to catch air for his grip on me was strong. Masky came beside me and rubbed my back soothingly to make feel better.

"It's alright, Hoody..." He comforted me.

I just made a gentle smile at him while still choking a bit. Afterwards, I recovered and stood up.

"You alright now?"

"Yeah. Thanks." 

As we proceeded to walk back, Masky was grabbed with some dark, shadow like mist and pulled him back.

"MASKY!!!" I yelled as I grabbed his arms trying to pull him back to me.

I looked behind him to see who was manipulating the shadow. And it was One-Eyed! How can he still be alive?!

"You think you can get rid of me so easily?" One-Eyed smirked.

"MASKY!!!" I yelled as feel my grip failing.

"Gotcha..." One-Eyed smirked as he pulled Masky to him.

"NO!!!"

"No you won't!!" Masky pulled out his knife and slashed One-Eyed at the right distance but sadly it failed as One-Eyed dodged it with ease.

"Pity..." One-Eyed smirked. "Well, Hoody. I will be taking Masky to our lair for some interrogating... I'll return him to you when he's dead. Alright?"

And with that, he knocked me out when he threw some of his shadow at me. The last thing I saw was Masky. Tied up. And in danger...
