Arrogance.

3rd person POV

Taehyung is smiling and laughing while talking with Park Taehee. She's an easy girl to talk to. She's very lady-like and one might compare her to IU. Beautiful and graceful. Despite having a good time, Taehyung didnt forget to evaluate the models. His mother text him again to give him a list of questions to ask and things to look for during the evaluation.

Everything was going smoothly, except......

Yoongi seems to push Jimin to be always stand very close to him or he would tell Jimin to be intimate with him. Like, fix his suit or tie or brush his hair to the side. Taehyung is fine because thats how Jimin is, he is very intimate person but he's uncomfortable to receive that attention from Jimin infront of Yoongi, i mean., its his boyfried. Taehyung is confuse as to why Yoongi is acting like that but he'll ask him later when they get home.

Another thing that makes him uncomfortable is Jungkook stares. Jungkook seems to be staring at his direction, watching his every moves. Even when he's not looking, he can feel his stares. But sometimes he catches Yoongi giving Jungkook smirks and Jungkook would gulp his champagne, replying his smirk with a deathly, annoyed, im-gonna-kill-you stares. He has mo idea whats going on between Yoongi and Jungkook and he's planning to find out.

As for Jungkook, he wanted to come up and talk to Taehyung, but his dwarf of a bodyguards is in the way. He see what Yoongi is doing. He's trying to make him angry and his blood boil, and its working. Every time he sees Jimin fix Taehyung suit or brush his hair he feels like he wants to rip them apart. He also would like to punch Yoongi in face very much but he promised Jackson that he'll be in his best behavior tonight. This is a chance to create good relationship between his company with modeling agency, just in case they need to hire the models.

He's been seeing Taehyung and the 'dwarfs' talking to some models and wonder whats they're talking about. Actually, why is he here in the first place? He hates event like this. He then sees Taehyung excuse himself from talking with the model Park Taehee. He looks around but he finds Taehyung is alone, no Yoongi nowhere to be found and thats probably why Jimin is nowhere to be found too, probably looking for him.

Now is his chance. He can talk to Taehyung now. He was about to go to Taehyung but then someone pats him on the shoulder, made him turn. Its Aiden Wang. He seems to have something to discuss with Jungkook. Jungkook became conflicted. He wanted to go to Taehyung but i would be rude to just ignore the person in front of him. He'll just gonna talk with him quickly so it might not seems rude, he glance to where Taehyung is, and he is still there, alone.

Thank god

While Taehyung is sipping his champagne, he is cursing Jimin and Yoongi internally. He told them not to leave him alone, and yet, here he is, alone. He was about to look for them outside, then he was greeted by someone by the small fountain inside. He look towards the person, and smile. Trying to be confident.

How convenient of  this person to come up to me. Saves me the trouble.

"Good evening" Taehyung greeted back.

"Arisa" she holds out her hand.

"Kim Taehyung, please to meet you" he takes her hand.

"So how's you get started with modeling?" Taehyung ask. Its one of the question he should ask.

"The only qualification i have is high school and i realise i dont want to burden my sister anymore that i already have so, while i was looking for job, Jackson walks up to me, giving me his card and told me that i should give modeling a chance" Arisa tells her. It never cross her mind that currently, Taehyung is evaluating her. It never cross her mind that someone like Taehyung could be evaluating her so, she's being careless.

All this information is new to him. He's interested to know more. But his gut telling him that he needs to be careful with Arisa. The way Arisa looks at her, is like observing him, trying to know all his secret. Making Taehyung even more uncomfortable.

"You seems to be doing okay" Arisa said, suddenly.

"What do you mean?" Taehyung asked her, confused.

"Im sorry, but i notice that you look uncomfortable in this party so i assume you're not used to the spotlight" she explains.

"Yeah, im not used to it actually" he chuckled.

"Even though your husband is Jeon Jungkook? He never take you anywhere? To an event like this?" Arisa said and Taehyung's heart drop to the floor. He cant believe what he's hearing right now. His breathing became fast.

"I dont know what you're talking about....." Taehyung said slowly, almost like a whisper.

"Must be hard for you, hiding your identity, your relationship with your husband" she added. She knew that Taehyung's weakness is that he lack of confidence. She didnt knew that insecurity would be one of his too. I mean, look at him, there's nothing for him to be insecure about.

Judging by the shaky eyes and the silence, its her cue to continue.

"Being married to a guy, who has a reputation like Jungkook is hard. That must be painful for you, not being able to properly introduce yourself as his husband. Not being able to accompany him to an events like this. Holding his hand, stand by his side." She continues and look at Jungkook who seems to be talking with Aiden Wang. And right on time, Lisa walks towards them. Smiling and talking together.

"But she can. Standing by his side, holding his hand, accompany him to an event like this because that would be natural." she wont stop. She will keep on poking onto Taehyung's weakness. Taehyung follow her eye direction, to Jungkook who then, look at him and Arisa, then Lisa who turn to Jungkook also turns to them.

"You know what im trying to say, right?" She added.

"They do look perfect" Taehyung says, after being silent for sometime.

"Not as perfect as me by his side but good enough. The reason why Jungkook didnt brought me along to any event is because i didnt want to distract him from working because if im around him....." he lean in close to Arisa, whispering to her ear.

"I am all he thinks about that he cant concentrate" then he give Arisa a smirk before leaving to find Yoongi and Jimin. He act tough, he fought back but in reality, what Arisa said, really get to him. Because hearing his own insecurity from someone else, really is painful.

Suddenly a force grab him to the left, pulling him into a room. He look at the direction and his eyes widened.

"Hey baby, i miss you"

-Meanwhile-

Jackson walks up to Arisa, extremely nervous after watching her talking with Taehyung.

"What did you guys talked about?" Jackson asked Arisa.

"Nothing much. He's not that interesting anyway" she snort, taking a sip from her champagne, totally ignoring how nervous Jackson is right now.

"I found out that his mother is suppose to evaluate you but she's not here and Taehyung is which means he'll be the one to evaluate you SO TELL ME, WHAT DID YOU GUYS TALKED ABOUT?" Jackson said, jaw gritted.

Holy shit, what did i just do.......
