"hey? what's up? are you okay?"
"yes nessa. i'm okay," carmen giggles "do you know mira johnston? my ex?"

"yeah, the insane one?" the girls laughs.
"that's her, well she, uh, dmed me."
"you're joking right?" vanessa frowns.
"nope. she wished me a happy birthday and then i told her she couldn't just walk back into my life after not talking to me for a year." carmen breathes shakily.
"well, i think that was the right answer," nessa smiles proudly. "anything else?"
"oh yeah! she told me to give her another chance because she's changed."
