"Please Roderick lemme come with y'all I promise I'll just stay in the back" I said begging him to take me to the mall with them
"You know the mall full of germs and shit Ion want chu to get worse" he said making me pout
"3 I never get to go anywhere I'm tired of sitting in this hospital I'm lonely nobody wants to be friends wimme" I mumbled
He sighed rubbing his chin "You got on clothes?"
"Yup already dressed now come get me" I said quickly smiling
He shook his head before hanging up
I'm finally able to go somewhere I just hope momma lets me go
I got up grabbing my purse walking in the bathroom
"I look good" I mumbled hyping myself up in the mirror
No you don't , my head thought making a frown come upon me
I turned away from the mirror walking out and going to the window looking out of it
Being diagnosed with cancer stage 4 really hurt me I have no friends , others look at me disgusted but quickly change when they find out I have what I have , I can't go anywhere it feels like I'm always in here , and it just hurts..
Momma told me that I was gon live for as long as she's alive..but I know she's lying
A tear slipped from my eye , I have nobody but her and Roderick
My daddy left because he said "it was too much" and he didn't want a "cancer daughter it's embarrassing and stressful"
That was 3 years ago I haven't seen him since and it really hurts
I'm the only child of my parents I wouldn't know to have any sisters or brothers because well my dad is gone
"Say luh bit let's go" Roderick said kicking me out my thoughts
I quickly grabbed my bag and headed out with him
"You asked yo momma to go out right?" He asked concerned
"Yeah she said I could" I lied getting on to the elevator
"Imma make sure by sending her a message" he mumbled making me scratch my head "Okay" I mumbled
As the elevator went down Roderick typed on his phone "Say I forgot to tell you it isn't just us it's other people coming too" he said
"Other people?" I questioned
"Their nice don't worry about it" he laughed as the elevator opened letting us out
We walked through out the lobby and I said bye to some of the nurses before going on the front entrance
