"Okay Pinky I think we need to stop calling each other with real names from now on"

"Hey! don't call me tha--" Remi stopped midway through her sentence, realizing that arguing with him won't get her anywhere regardless "You know what? Fine... we don't have time to argue, Blackie" 

Johns eyes widened "Excuse me? Blackie? You think I'm a dog or something?"

"W-wait... I didn't mean it that way-"

"HEY! I said what business do you both have here?! You with the black hair! deactivate your ability right now!" The guard demanded

The two guards both have grey hairs. 'Are they related or something? Or are they both just old?' John thought. They both look like they're in their 30's

"And what if I don't want to?" 

"Then we'll make you... you cocky brat!" Said the other guard

Both of the guards activated their abilities without any hesitation. One of the guard stomped the ground with his feet

"Huh?" John and Remi felt something weird. They felt a slight tremor beneath the ground. Both of them jumped to the air impulsively, because giant spikes of rocks just came out from the ground suddenly

While they were still mid-air... the second guard also used his ability. He was aiming both his hands to the two, and suddenly... something came out from his hands — on what appears to be stone rods — and he shot them at us

'What the fuck? That's disgusting' John thought. 'So they are related... both their abilities revolves around stones

John had no problem dodging it with Blyke's beam... while Remi decided to burn the stone rod in front of her to ashes using her lightning *bzzt*

"W-wait, what?" The guards were dumbfounded "W-who are you guys?" 

"We're superheroes... And we're here to stop Kalen's tyranny behaviour!" Said Remi, determined

"Superheroes? A-are you saying that you're both high tiers?"

John sighed "Just tell us where Kalen is! Or I'll shoot this beam up your ass!" Said John while charging up a beam on his hand to intimidate them, which didn't fail. They immediately deactivated their powers

"Wait! Okay okay... we're sorry! We just had no choice but to guard this place or else he'll ruin us all! He's at the 10th floor!"

After all that hassle, They both immediately called the elevator and went inside *ding!*

The tight space was silence for quiet a while, until Remi attempted to break the silence

"So uhm... Black." Said Remi awkwardly, not knowing what else to call him "Did you copy their abilities as well? Or did you decide not to?" 

"Obviously not... I'm not gonna show my trump card and tell the whole world that I can copy abilities"

"Fair enough"

"And to be frank... Their abilities were trash anyways"

*ding!* The elevator arrived on the 10th floor

"Woah... Cool! The whole 10th floor is just this one giant room!" Said Remi dumbfounded

Suddenly, the two noticed a light blue haired man standing on the end of the room looking at the windows facing his back at us

"Who said you guys can just come in here whenever you please?" Said Kalen

"You're Kalen? Look we came here just to get some of that injection too if you know what I mean?" John said sarcastically

"Huh? How did you guys know about the injections? As far as I know... no one in this town knows about that..."

"Does it matter? Just call the drug dealer and I'll give you your share... What do you say?" John asked confidently, even though he doesn't have anything close to the price of the injection boost

"Hmph... and you think that I'm just going to agree and say yes? What a moron"

John sighed. He was actually really hoping that he would've just agreed to it and not waste anymore time "Guess we'll just do this the hard way. Just so you know... I was going easy on you, so don't regret it... Kalen"
