It was hard. It was difficult practicing when you have 0 confidence in yourself, even more challenging when your stressed and tired, but the only thing I could do about it push was through the difficulties and try my best.
Me and the rest of my group were constantly scolded by the trainers for being too quiet or not trying enough, but I couldn't help but feel like I was nothing. Even though I knew I could do way better than this.
"Im Narin, I've heard you sing before and your vocals are good, what's going on with you now?" Trainer Soyou asks me.
I look at my feet, not wanting to make eye contact with her, I remain silent. I heard her sigh as I slowly look up and see her shake her head in disappointment. "Could you try it one more time?" She asks, I nod accepting her words.
I didn't have a lot of lines in the song, so I sung my shortest line. "Chyeoda bodeun maldeun I wanna dance."
"Louder." Trainer Cheetah demands.

To be honest I felt disappointed in myself, and I wanted to go into a small corner and just sulk for the rest of the day. __
As we stepped on stage, I felt my sadness and insecurities fade away. When I saw the posters people were holding up for us, I felt happy again. __
