*3 months later*

I let out a long sigh as I reclined further back in my chair. It felt good being back in the office doing what I do best. After serving Mark and Elana their papers I immediately started back work. Not to mention I now had Mark's old position. Things were finally looking up. Although Elana talked all that noise about how everything wasn't her idea she never actually fessed up to who. If there even was a who. I couldn't trust that girl telling me the sky was blue. Kierra and Bri went back to Chicago the next day. Both were disappointed they didn't get the opportunity to whoop anybody  ,but they were alright. Chazz eventually told us about the pregnancy and we're so happy and excited for her and Coby. She's praying for a girl especially with her gender reveal coming up in a few days. I haven't seen or spoken to Dave since the that day he came to get his stuff. I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss him though, what was really crazy though was the fact his mom still kept in touch with me. She would go on and on about how me and him need to stop playing and get right. She told me how he started back dating Ryan and she couldn't stand her. I just shook my head and kept my comments to myself about it. Me and Chris are kind of sorta working things out though. He's been so perfect these past few months although O told him we were taking baby steps. His daughter and I became joined at the hip. I was hesitant at first because of her bat crazy mother but she hasn't been showing her face so so far everything was cool. I was happy to get my life back on track,

I was freed from my thoughts as I heard a light knock on my office door.

"Yes?", i called out.

"Ms. Steele there's a client out here. He's demanding to see you now. He states there's a discrepancy with his account and he wants you to personally look at it. I told him he has to schedule a meeting but he refuses to leave", Anna my new assistant said peeking through the door.

"Uhh , well why didn't you call security?", i asked her confusedly.

"I was going to but then he said y'all were friends."

"Friends? Send him in....i guesd."

"Ok", she said as she closed the door.

I bit my lip as I thought about who it could be. Just when my mind landed on him there he was walking through the door in the flesh. I sighed not really wanting to speak to him. Its been awhile and the lst time we spoke it didn't end on good terms.

"To what do I owe this pleasure Mr.Brewster?"

"Good to know it's a pleasure", he chuckled.

"Mhmm", i said nodding.

"I uhh came here because I went in and reviewed my stuff on that website you showed me and something wasn't adding up."

"Well you could've spoke to the accountant who's handling it and asked them about it. You didn't have to see me." I responded curtly hoping to end the conversation with that.

"I know but I know you the best at what you do and honestly I don't trust anybody....except you of course to handle my stuff. Just look at it please and let me know if I'm tripping." He poked his lip out.

"Ha, ok David. Suck that lip in."

"What? Its not cute?", he asked turning his head sideways.

"No", i lied.

"Whatever man just look."

I rolled my eyes and turned to my computer. I logged in and typed in his name pulling up his account information. I could feel him staring at me.

"Do you have to stare ? ", i asked him still staring at the screen.

"Uhhh, its just i aint seen you in a minute. That's all."
