Chapter 18

"PUSH!" the doctor yelled as Percy pushed. His stomach, his whole body hurt badly. The pain was way too intense. Annabeth gasped. "The baby! Its coming out!" Wait, what baby?

The doctor delivered the baby and showed it to the delighted couple. "Its a boy!" Annabeth grinned, carrying the baby boy, looking small and snug in 'his' arms. She...He handed the baby to Percy, who yelled "He's beautiful!"

Percy woke up and screamed. "Ahhhhh that was horrifying!" he was sweating and the memory of that disturbing dream made him shudder.

He was alone in his cabin. It was 4:20am.

"Is that what Annabeth or all women have to go through when they gave birth? Gods was it painful."

He rubbed his own stomach. Although he was a girl now, he would NOT like to give birth. That means no the thing.

He figured it out a little. Annabeth was in guy form so now she can't give birth. But guys-turned-girls can.

Who did all this stuff?

He figured maybe it was funny. It did seem like a practical joke which always equaled to the Stolls. But both boys had turned to girls, and they wouldn't if they were the culprits. Also, Piper used her charmspeak on them and there was no way they could resist.

So maybe it was Hermes? No. Zeus himself had asked Hermes and Percy doubted that Hermes would disobey Zeus like that. Aphrodite then? Percy didn't found it right ether.

Who had enough power to do this?

No mere demigod could do this.

Hey!

How bout Hecate?

Goddess of Magic. Its possible that she could do this right? She had turned evil before. But why would she? Percy knew definitely it wasn't for a prank or a practical joke.

Maybe it was Nemesis? As revenge...

Or Gaea? Maybe she got magic powers and was awaking again.

Hey, how about that show Fairly Odd Parents where there were the two fairies or something that had magic and could grant the boy Timmy anything? There was even a fairy land! Were the names Cosmo and Wanda?

His mind wandered to when Annabeth talked about how as a child she used to read the fairy series or something by Enid Blyton. There was Fairyland there! Or the Faraway Tree...

Percy groaned.

He was thinking too much at this late hour. And all his thoughts sounded stupid and muddled, even to him. How could he even consider fairies and pixies and Gaea awakening and being all magician. He tried to imagine Dirt Face as one of those magicians at kid parties with the hat and suit and pulling a bunny out of the hat.

Wait, wouldn't she be more of the type who instead of pulling a bunny out of the hat took dirt and threw it at the little kids faces, yelling "YEEE HAAA!"

Okay. Way off track.

He opened and closed his palm, trying to focus.

Then he remembered.

Sadie and Carter Kane!

(A/N: From the Kane Chronicles remember? That series also written by Rick Riordan. Rick also wrote crossovers between the PJO series and the Kane Chronicles [Son of Sobek,Staff Of Serapis etc.] You don't have to read any of those to understand the next few parts tho)

They were the Egyptian counterparts. He remembered that Carter could do magic. And Annabeth had told Percy she met Sadie. And she could do magic too. Percy was pretty sure there was an Egyptian god of magic.

If anything, a more realistic reason. Something like them.

Annabeth had Sadie's number. In the morning, Percy was definitely going to suggest Annabeth call Sadie. To ask if the Egyptian side was experiencing the genderbend too
