Things, for the most part, went back to normal after that day. Lyra was not the same, she still kept herself closed off to others and she was extra jumpy around crowds. But the twins ignored this and they all pretended nothing was wrong.

The day after everything had happened Lyra's parents came to see her. To George's surprise, they didn't seem shocked when Dumbledore told them what happened. They all talked about it as if it was only a matter of time.

He was also surprised by her parents in general as they were so different from Lyra. Her mother was also short and plump, but she had long curly red hair and a youthful face. She looked far to young to be Lyras's Mother and far too fierce. There was just something wild about her, something untamed.

Lyra's father was tall and big. He sort of looked like a small version of Hagrid. With long brown hair and warm black eyes. He seemed much more gentle and soft-spoken than his wife.

It caught him off guard that they knew him and Fred. Lyra blushed madly admitting that she wrote home about them a lot. Especially him. which made him feel a bit guilty about not writing home about her.

George thought for sure she'd go home with her parents after everything that happened, but she stayed. After all the talking was done, she hugged them goodbye and returned back to his side. She didn't even seem upset. His eyebrows scrunched together and shared a worried look with Fred. Maybe he was right, maybe the curse did fry her brain a little bit.

"Aren't you going with them?"

"No."

He frowned waiting for more but she didn't speak.

Fred stretched "You're as weird as ever Stone, only you would want to stay here and keep learning instead of starting vacation early."

A small smile graced her lips and George relaxed a little. "Not true, " he piped in "I bet Hermione would do the same."

Fred's face scrunched up as if he smelled something foul. "True. I bet the two of them would jump at the opportunity to stay holed up in the library all of the break. Disgusting."

Lyra looked up at the sky, imagining her and Hermione getting the Library to themselves all summer. Ending this year how it began.

"That would be nice," She sighed.

Fred groaned but shared a smile with George. Both glad to hear her speak.
