**Dan's P.O.V**

I took another shot. The acidic liquid ran down my throat. I hadn't seen Sam yet and I was getting annoyed. Either it was the alcohol or me talking.

"Dan, no more. You'll get drunk." Phil said. I rolled my eyes and turned away from him. Where was she?

**Sam's P.O.V**

I had met so many people! Alfie, Joe, Jack and Finn, Joey, Tyler, Tanya, Jim, Louise, Charlie, Alex and so many others. It was crazy but amazing. All my fantasy had become a reality and the hyper buzz I felt in my body was still whirling. I skipped over to the bar to grab a grink before finding Dan and Phil. One orange juice and I was going-

"Hi!" A voice said beside me. I stopped and turned to see a very handsome man with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was taller than I was and had a broad frame. He had a black leather jacket and devil horns on his head.

"Er...hi." I replied, smiling slightly.

"You look great." He said, gesturing towards me. I blushed and he winked making more heat flush on my cheeks.

"Th-thanks." I stuttered. "You look great too." Damn it. He was so flawless and he wanted to talk to me.

"You are PixelatedPixie, right?" He asked, a playful look on his face. Oh my gosh! He knew who I was. Shit. Act cool.

"Yeah, that's me. PixelatedPixie. Yep." Wow...

We talked a little longer. Turns out, his name was Steve and he was a mechanic from Texas. I told him a little about me and how I came here with friends.

"I was actually about to find my friend, Da-" I started. Shit! Dan! I forgot. "I'm sorry, but I have to go find him." I said in a fluster.

"Oh, Dan?" He asked. How does he know?

"Yes..." I slowly said.

"I think I saw him earlier. What me to show you?" He asked.

"Yes please. Thank you." I sighed, relieved.

He took my wrist and led me out of the busy hall and down a corridor. No one was about so you could only hear our foot steps and the distance buzz of music.

"Just down here." He said. Why would Dan be down here? He pushed my into a room with a table and chairs in the middle. No one was here.

"Where's-" Bam! A punch to the face. A fierce shocking pain spread across my face as I stumbled back. Steve's face stone cold. I was so confused. He lied.

He punched me again. I was too slow to react. The fiery flames of pain shot through my face and I screamed in agony. He then grabbed my arm and twisted it behind my back. More pain. I tried wriggling and pushing but he was too strong. I kicked and screamed but no reaction. He grabbed my hair and slammed my face against the table and held it there. No matter what I did, I couldn't move him. I was nothing more than a lifeless rag doll. Tears streamed from my eyes. This is it. I screamed one last time, trying to get attention and because of the agonizing pain.

A smashing bottle...but it wasn't on me. Steve collapsed and hit the floor. I spun around as quick as I could, without hurting myself, to see Dan. Broken bottle at hand, his face shocked and scared. Oh my...

I broke down. Streams of tears rolled down my cheeks, blood down my lips, bruises, marks. Why? My legs gave way and I fell onto the floor, curling up. Dan fled over to me.

"Oh my god, Sam." He whispered in my ear as he hugged me tight, but not tight enough that it would hurt. He looked into my eyes. "Did he..?" He started. I shook my head. He sighed with relieve but still wasn't satisfied. Dan then swept me up, bridal style, and carried me out the door. I cried silently in his chest. I was so gullible. Everything was just going so well...

"What happened?!" A startled voice said.

"Chris! Drive me and Sam back to my place, please?" Dan desperately said. Chris nodded, so calmly, and ran outside, Dan following. Chris opened the back door to his car and Dan slid in with me. I curled up to him. All I wanted was safety. The car started and we were off.

"It's gonna be okay..." Dan cooed. One arm across my back, the other stroking my hair. "It's gonna be all okay..."

Dan entered his bedroom, me still in his arms. He led me down on his bed. I winced at the pain.

"Fuck! Sorry!" He whispered. I shook my head.

"It's okay." I said, breathing heavily. "I'm sorry."

"Why are you sorry?" Dan asked, troubled as he straightened up.

"I was a gullible fuck. If it wasn't for you, I would of been-" I started but Dan cut me off.

"No. That man is the most disgusting scum of this earth. You are the victim. He was waiting for his chance.  I just want to fucking kill that...URGH!" He expressed, agitated. He was trying to contain the anger he felt and ended up kicking the bedpost, hard, and melted down beside the bed, head in hands. "I wish I was there for you..." He whispered.

"You were!" I said taking his hand in mine. He looked up to face me. His eyes flicked across my face.

"Can I confess something?" He whispered. I hesitated to answer but just nodded.

"Well..." He sighed. "I don't know what it was but it felt like someone told me that you were...distressed. I heard a voice just saying...help." He said. My eyes widen. She helped me...

"I can't explain it." He said, frustrated. I looked into space, biting my lip. It was independently...

"Get some sleep." He said, getting up. No.

"Where are you going to sleep?" I asked.

"I'll take the sofa. It's not that bad." He winked. He started to leave. I tried searching for the right words but nothing came up.

"Stay? I'm scared." I pleaded.

"Are...are you sure? I mean because you-"

"Stay..."

He nodded and obeyed. I shuffled over slightly to allow room for him. He slid in next to me and pushed the covers over us. I curled up into his chest. I heard his heart beating fast. I smiled. He laid an arm over me and we intertwined out legs. And I fell asleep...
