"Oh yeah, Zim." (Y/n) said, getting Zim's attention again. "How far are you on translating the paper?" (Y/n) asks, Zim rolling his eyes. "Most of it is done, it's really just him trying to add up blood cells and trying to see if the blood sample he got from you to prove what you really are," Zim said and looked up from the paper at (Y/n) who was sitting there in silence, staring at the table with a blank expression. "Dirtbag did you break?" Zim questioned and (Y/n) shook his head and smiled at Zim, though this smile was more menacing than his usual smile.
"Oh, I didn't break, but I'll make sure someone else is broken."
The sound of the bell rang through the lunchroom, (Y/n) stared up at the speakers before standing up, letting out a sigh and starting to pack his stuff up. "Well Zim, it was nice talking to you, but I gotta have a little chat with Dib, see ya." (Y/n) said and grabbed his bag, starting to walk away. "(Y/n) wait." Zim spoke up and (Y/n) stopped and turned back around, looking at Zim. "Yeah?" (Y/n) says back, Zim opening his mouth to say something before shaking his head. "Never mind Dirtbag, go and talk to the Dib-stink," Zim says and crosses his arms, (Y/n) just rolling his eyes. "Alright, weirdo." (Y/n) says, a small smile on his face as he turned around again and walking away, heading outside to the outside area, looking around for Dib.
'alright, if I was a big-headed nerd, where would I go?' (Y/n) thinks to himself, walking down the steps, stopping for a moment before continuing to walk when someone lightly shoved him to get past. 'I need to know what's on the paper and I need to know why Dib insisted on calling me an alien.' (Y/n) thinks and looks around, not seeing the raven-haired teen.
"I'm telling you Gaz! the new kid (Y/n) isn't human, look at the results!" (Y/n) hears Dib exclaims in the background, (Y/n) turning to his left, seeing Dib walk down the steps next to a girl with purple hair, her eyes focused on the GameBoy she was playing on, simply humming a response, clearly not paying attention. "Sure the numbers keep changing for his DNA but still! I can send this to a professional and (Y/n) will get taken away!" Dib says, determination in his voice as him and Gaz walked across the playground, sitting in the grass area a little bit away from everyone.
'ah, so he's trying to get rid of me, fun.' was all (Y/n) though and started to walk over to the two before stopping. 'the moment Dib sees me he'll flip out and stop talking, I should hide close by and listen to what he's saying.' (Y/n) walked along the edge of the fence, trying as hard as he could not to make any noises as he took each step, staying as close to the fence as he could.
"Once I get home I'll send this blood to a friend and-" "You have friends?" Gaz interrupted Dib, Dib glaring at his sister for a moment. "Yes, Gaz, I have friends and they are into all the things I'm into, like aliens and bigfoot!" Dib says and (Y/n) slipped behind the tree they were sitting at. 'Jeez, he's such a nerd.' (Y/n) thought and crouched down on the ground. 'I'll confront him when he says something ridiculous.' was all (Y/n) thought and sat down, listening to the conversation.
"Tch sounds like losers to me," Gaz says and Dib almost gasped. "Gaz, they're not losers! They are professionals and they-" "They probably just live in their parent's basements and say their professionals." Gaz said back and Dib sighed, hitting his head a few times on the tree. "Dib, stop distracting me, I am two levels away from getting perfect on this game if you make me loose I will make sure you wish you had actual friends to defend you." Gaz hissed with venom in her voice, Dib just rolling his eyes. "Alright, I'm going to go find (Y/n) and try to expose him in front of everyone!" Dib said, determination in his voice as he walked away, (Y/n) just rolling his eyes and stood up, walking out from behind the tree, watching Dib walk away, (Y/n) trying to cross his arms before leaning against the tree.
"I feel bad for you," Gaz said, (Y/n) jumping slightly and looked down at the girl. "Whenever Dib thinks someone's something, he will not give up until he "exposes them", he's so dumb," Gaz spoke and (Y/n) nodded slightly. "Has he always been this way? Always so... nerdy and annoying?" (Y/n) asks and Gaz hummed a 'yes' as a response. "Alright, well, I'm gonna talk to him, sorry for bothering you and distracting you from your game." (Y/n) said and walked away, walking in the direction he saw Dib go in.
'Alright, as annoying as he is, he could be useful, he seems smart enough, he could probably help me get home.' (Y/n) though before stopping for a moment. 'man, I haven't really thought of home, I hope (b/n) and (d/n) are ok, and I hope (ex/n) fucking burns.' (Y/n) thought and started to walk again, stuffing one of his hands in his pocket. 'alright, nerd, where are you?' (Y/n) thinks, glancing around the schoolyard, seeing Dib pretty much yelling at Zim, the two clearly in an argument. 'great, those two hate each other? Fuck, just whatever, I need to talk to him.' (Y/n) thinks annoyed, walking over to the two.
"Tell me, Zim, what's your and (Y/n)'s plan to destroy the world!" Dib exclaims, Zim rolled his eyes. "Like I'd tell a human vermin like you!" Zim snapped before thinking for a moment. "And (Y/n)-freak won't tell you either! Even if he isn't part of the mission!" Zim adds, still shouting before seeing (Y/n). "(Y/n)-freak! Get Dib-stink away from me!" Zim exclaims, jumping off the fence he climbed and ran to (Y/n), hiding behind him as if using (Y/n) as a shield. (Y/n) just sighed and looked back at Zim. "Really, Zim?" (Y/n) grumbled before looking back at Dib who was staring at the two, arms crossed and his eyes narrowed. "Alright, Dib, I need to talk to you." (Y/n) said and started to walk towards Dib, Zim staying where he stood, giving (Y/n) a look as if saying he was crazy.
"Don't come any closer!" Dib exclaims, taking out a water bottle and taking the cap off, pointing it at (Y/n) making (Y/n) stop and just stare at the raven-haired boy. "How do you think water's going to defend you?" (Y/n) questions, Dib rolling his eyes. "I know the Irken can't touch water, one toss and you and Zim will be running away screaming in pain!" Dib exclaims and (Y/n) let out a laugh. "Really, that's honestly pretty sad, having a weakness that's water." (Y/n) laughed, Dib having a surprised look on his face before quickly going back to a neutral face. "I'm not as dumb as the others, I can easily see past your disguises!" Dib exclaims and (Y/n) rolls his eyes, deciding to play along with this.
"Alright, then Dib, if you truly know what we are, go ahead, ask me things and I'll answer your questions." (Y/n) says, taking a step toward Dib, Dib taking a step back, his back hitting the brick wall. "Come on Dib, go ahead and ask a question!" (Y/n) says and takes another step toward Dib. "Stop! I-I mean it!" Dib shouts out, pointing the water bottle at (Y/n). "What's that supposed to do-" (Y/n) says and takes a step forward, getting cut off when Dib poured the water bottle out onto (Y/n)'s head. (Y/n) stood there stunned, his hair immediately getting soaked and drooped down, Dib shoved past (Y/n) and sprinted away, (Y/n) snapping out of the trance and sprinting after Dib, shouting utter nonsense as he tried to run after the taller boy, most of the kids watching as Dib ran, a terrified look in his eye as he ran away from the smaller blonde teen who looked like he was going to murder someone.
(Alright, Not very eventful chapter, I had to re-write this a few times because I just didn't like how it went. but anyway, after 'skool' I'll give the reader/(Y/n) a chance to hang out with one of the characters, so I'd say just comment on this paragraph which character you would like to hang out with)
