Camila's pov

I was at my locker when it slams shut, I jump and then feel arms around my waist and a kiss on my head, I look to see Lauren and smile as she smiles at me.

"Hey nerd" she said, I smile leaning back into her

"Hey bully" I say, she smiles and then looks as the doors open, she spins me around and pins me to the locker, it was soft though it didn't hurt. I frown as she started to make fun of me, I then see normani stand next to her.

"Laur lets go" normani said, Lauren let's go of me and as normani started to walk she kissed my cheek

"Sorry" she whispers and walks with normani, I sigh and pick my books up, I see shawn talking to another girl and frown. I go to homeroom 5 minutes before the bell, I sit at the desk ms Brooke looks at me.

"Is everything okay Camila?" She asked, I nod

"Yes ms" I say, she nods softly and I help her set out her lesson

The bell goes and Lauren comes in, thankfully normani isn't in any of my lesson, I sit down and Lauren sits next to me.

"I'm sorry about earlier" she said, I nod softly

"Why do it?" I ask, she sighed

"I don't want mani to think I'm a pussy" she said, I look at her

"Lauren, you don't need to worry about what other people think about you, you can't live only wanting other people to think you're cool, no matter how hard you try there's always going to be people who think you're weird and uncool" I say, she looks at me smiling

"Yeh...but norm-" I cut her off

"Normani can think what she wants, it's never going to change how other people think about you" I say, she nods softly

"Lo, would you want 1 real friend who likes you for you and you can be as weird as you want and they'll still love you, they care for you and want you to be as happy as you can or, 1 million fake friends who don't care how you feel, what you think, and just want to use you?" I ask, she looks down and then back up to me with a soft smile

"I want you to be my friend" she whispered, I smile softly

"I already am" I say, she smiles and pulled my chair closer, she wraps her arm around my shoulder and kisses my head

"Lauren, get off Camila and sit away from her" ms brooke said, I smile shaking my head

"It's okay ms" I say, I rest my head on Lauren's shoulder and my brooke looked shocked, so did the rest of the class

"Ha! Lauren's friends with the nerd!" Someone said, I see Lauren's face grow of anger

"Yeh I am! And I'm still the only one who can call her that!" She yells, I look to see the boy who said it was Austin, Lauren gets up as he starts to take the piss out of me, she walks over grabbing him and pinning him to the wall, he's off the ground held by his shirt that's in laurens tight fisted

"I swear to god I'll put you in the fucking ground if you keep talking about her! I hear her name or anything to do with her leave your mouth! I'll break your jaw into pieces, rip your tongue out then staple your mouth shut so nothing can leave it!" She growled, I see him terrified and sighed

"Lo, stop" I say, she looks at me and her face softened in seconds when she looked at me

"But-" I stop her

"Come here" I say, she looks at him and throws him on the floor walking over to me, I pull her to sit down and cuddle her side and she wraps her arm around me.

"He was being mean to you" she said, I nod and look at her

"He's not anymore though is he" I say, she shook her head and I smile, I put my head on her chest and she kisses to top of my head. Ms brooke starts the lesson after everything calmed down

It's now lunch and I see Lauren with normani, I sit with my friend Dinah and look at Lauren, she was laughing with normani genuinely. I sigh and start to talk with Dinah, she's my only real friend, well I think Lauren is but I'm not sure, when we're alone she's different and more real. Speaking of her she's walking to my table with normani, I hear Dinah sigh and I open my banana, normani grabs it before I could open it, Lauren looks at me then her. She takes the fruit giving it back to me, she then looks at normani a little scared.

"Why did you do that?" She asked, Lauren looks down

"You know only I can be mean to her" she mumbled, normani scoffed

"Let the whole school bully her Lauren, she's a freak!" Normani said, I look at Lauren and she feels my eyes on her and looks at me, she sighed and it seemed as if every wall she built fell down.

"She's not, she's actually really nice, all she wants is for everyone to be nice to each other, she's the most sweetest person I know and will ever know, she has the biggest heart and loves everyone for who they are, she's funny, smart, caring, loving, talented, she's just genuine and really fucking good at cuddling. More people should start to be like her, if everyone was the world would be at peace, she's got an amazing way of using her words, she speaks up for people when they don't have a voice, even if hers in this school is small she uses it as best as she can for the good of people. If that's a freak I think everyone should be one" she said, I smile wide as normani and Dinah was shocked, normani pushed Lauren but Lauren didn't more.

"How do you know she's good at cuddling?" Normani asked, Lauren shook her head

"That's what you got from all that?" She sighed, I giggle softly and she looks with a smile she grabs my hand on the table rubbing it with her thumb

"You're dating the freak!" Normani yelled, Lauren looks at her confused

"What? No I'm not" she said, normani laughed walking away yelling that Lauren and I are dating when we're not. I grab her hand moving over so she can sit next to me, she did and I smile.

"Thank you" I say, she nods and I eat the banana finally, she smiles and wraps her arm around me kissing my head

"I love you" she said, I smile because that's the first time she said that

"I love you too" I say, she smiles rubbing my side I rest my head on her shoulder

"Lo, that's Dinah" I say, Lauren smiles lightly

"Hey" she said, Dinah waves lightly

"Hi, you're not going to be mean to us now are you?" Dinah asked, lo shook her head with a giggle

"No, only to Camila" she said, I pout and she giggles as I punch her stomach

"Nerd" she said, I whine

"I'm not a nerd!" I say, she giggles and puts her face against the top of my head giggling

"I'm just smart" I mumble, she puts her other hand on my knee farest away from her. I smile as she kisses my forehead and cuddle her chest

"You two are cute together" Dinah said, I smile as did Lauren

That's pretty much how the day went, Lauren Stood up for me and Dinah, I couldn't stop smiling when I was with her. She even walked me home, she's becoming really cute and nice.
