Why would Leilah do something like this? First I found out that my best friend is a high-tier and now THIS? I can't comprehend what's going on anymore. Come to think of it, I didn't really get the chance to know her that much. She left the family when I was just about to enter 7th grade. I didn't really get why my parents are so persistent about thinking that Leilah is a failure
"Her name is Leilah, isn't it Doc?" I asked knowing the answer regardless
"Huh? Yeah! How did you know that? You know her or something?"
"Leilah... She's my sister"
"WHAT?!?!?" Said everyone surprised
10:35 AM, Wellston School Infirmary
"Your sister?" John asked "But then why is she doing this? Not only you but to the other high-tiers... Isn't she a high-tier as well?"
"I... *sigh* I'm not too sure. And I'm not saying that I know my sister all that well either."
After I became friends with John, I now regretted that I haven't been spending time with my sister the same way I do with John... Before I met John. I spent all my time studying nonsense that I pushed all other distractions away, including my own family. If ONLY I strengthened my relationship with her, maybe I'll know the reason she's doing this. She's always been cheerful and friendly though
"So I've been dating your sister this WHOLE time?" Doc not realising that he was thinking out loud
"W-What? You're dating my sister Doc?" I asked shocked
"U-UHM, Well shit... *sigh* yes. I'm sorry"
"Then can you call my sister for me?"
"Well... the thing is, I talked with Leilah the other night about your ability loss. And the moment that I brought up your name, she wasn't too keen to continue our date. But I don't think she hates you or anything... It's just maybe she didn't know that SHE caused your ability loss."
"Doc... Do you have a clue on why she's doing this? How did you met her anyway?" I asked
"Well... I used to work on the same department ages ago revolving science. But no, I don't have any idea."
So Leilah's organisation caused my ability loss. I was disappointed but at the same time relieved knowing that maybe she will help me get it back
"Hey Sera..." Said John "I know this might be hard for you... But at least now we know who caused this. I don't know your sister, but maybe she have a reason for doing this. Especially if she's only targeting high-tiers. That means we're all in danger, including you pinky"
"Hey! Why're you still calling me that?! We're not using alias anymore" Said Remi
"Whatever"
"Anyway Seraphina... I'll try and call Leilah later today" Said Doc
"Alright... Thanks Doc"
