The end of the day came soon after that. For the rest of the day, you ended up sitting in during one of Class 1-A's training sessions with All Might-who you really didn't like for some reason. You vaguely remembered something about him favoring students and endangering them by supporting the idea for them to fight in some sort of war. Whatever happened with that, you were pretty sure it wasn't good. Of course, it was possible that you were wrong and it never happened. Although you were slowly remembering things from the manga, you didn't doubt that you'd forgotten the majority of it permanently. So much for foresight.

After Bakugo beat the shit out of another student- something that you were sure couldn't be legal or ethical- All Might decided to call it a day. You once again met up with Aizawa, who simply pointed you in the direction of the heroine who was meant to take you shopping.

"You must be Aizawa's new adoptee!" She exclaimed when you met her. "I'm Nemuri Kayama. You can just call me Midnight, though!"

She was dressed in a black skin-tight sweater dress and cute high heels that you kind of wanted to steal from her. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail, and she looked at you expectantly from behind red rimmed glasses. As if she expected you to recognize her. When you didn't, she sighed dramatically and whisked you away to her car.

"You don't talk much, do you?" She asked as she drove to the mall, glancing over at where you sat beside her. "That's a shame. I was really hoping this could be like girl time for the two of us! It's been forever since I've hung out with anyone."

"I'm just not sure what to talk about," you said honestly. There was only so many times you could answer questions about your home country and what school you went to before things got boring and repetitive.

"Did you have a boyfriend back home?" At your mortified look, she laughed. "Maybe a girlfriend?"

You shook your head. "I was more interested in my studies. I was going to college to become a public relations specialist. I also wanted to dabble a little bit in journalism, so this will be good practice for that."

"Sounds like you have your work cut out for you. Say, maybe you could write something on UA and get it published. Wouldn't that be fun?" She inquired, looking back to the road. She tapped her nails against the steering wheel as she drove.

"I'm doing that right now," you told her. "I'm writing an analysis of the different quirks there for Nezu. He wanted an outsider's perspective on both that and my stay here."

She nodded, and the two of you delved back into silence.

It seemed that Midnight took her wanting for this to become girl time very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that you found yourself being dragged all over the mall with various expensive articles of clothing thrown at you. You were currently watching as she held up a lilac-colored crop top while she gushed at you to try it on. Her mood had done a complete one eighty the second you got into the clothing stores. "Oh- come on, darling! Spice it up a little! Why not try this on?"

"I think I want something a little more comfortable," you told her, gesturing to the graphic t-shirts only a few rows away.

She shook her head. "You need to put yourself out there! Find your confidence! Get yourself a lover and kick some ass!"

"I'm confident wearing what I like, Midnight. I don't really want to put myself out there quite yet," you told her, and her face turned into a pout. "Fine! I'll get a crop top. Just grab the black one instead. It'll match better with the rest of my clothes."

She cheered, and you couldn't help but smile. She was kind of fun to hang out with, even if it did feel like you were hanging out with a mom who was trying too hard to fit in with her kids. She whisked you away to find more clothes, and you realized that you were actually having fun. It had been a while since you'd been able to be this carefree with people. Back at home, you were so caught up with your responsibilities that you never really had time to have fun. It was nice... to just be like this.
